This B&B is a good place for those who need to catch an early flight as it is just 10 min away from Termini where you can get a direct train to the airport. The rooms are simple, nice and clean. There's a free wi-fi in the lobby, and the rooms closer to the lobi too. The windows were not noise-tight, and it was quite noisy during the day. The B&B itself looks safe, you pass trough a court yard with a massive door to the street which is always locked. The area around looks so so. The owner is quite friendly. Thanks to her a got some recommendations for places to visit (which I haven't been to) and for good restaurants.

We stayed here during Easter 2009. It is located very close to the main train station. The area is not that nice but it easy to walk to colosseum and other sites. The owners are very nice and helpful. There was a nice breakfast every morning. The rooms are very basic but it is good value for money. if you are looking for a clean, basic room in Rome then you won't be disappointed.

Very best Rome hotel I've stayed in. The owners Ivan and Ariana went out of their way to be helpful. I left our passports in the hotel safe, and Ivan went to a great deal of trouble to send them to me in Venice -- and he would not accept any reimbursement for his expenses and trouble. Hotel is clean and lovely, the rooms are charming and comfortable, and the breakfast was genrous and delicious. The location proved to be very convenient. I will stay at Hotel Malu next trip to Rome.

The location of this B&B is a big plus. 10-15 mins walk from Roma Termini - but the area itself is really congested. Frankly, we had a tough time walking from the station to the hotel (not pedestrian friendly) - an impatient driver actually ran over the wheels of my suitcase, while we were trying to cross!!! This is a modest, no frills place - but it's a decent value for money and Ivan & Ariana are very nice (resourceful too). They had a pretty good breakfast too and theres free wifi. I may not stay here again because this place has a hostel feel to it. Although from what I've heard if you are looking for a reasonably priced room in Rome, you are likely to find a place like Malu. So may be my expectations were high.
