“Very good hotel for amazing price”

Indeed the hotel is quite hard to find when you don't really know the city but then it is very well situated at walking distance to Termini station and the Colloseum. Even less than 45 minutes to the Trevi Fountain which is not bad since Rome is really a nice to discover by walk!
The hotel staff was very friendly and even allowed us to stay one hour more at the end of the stay and keep our luggage until we leave. The breakfast was taken somewhere else very close to the hotel, was very basic but really good composed of a hot drink and a croissant or something like this (wide range of choice). The room was also very nice, clean and everything was working well. Had a very good time at this hotel, i would recommend it for everybody and i would go again if I have to stop to Rome in the future.

“Very disappointing”

Very difficult to find, not clearly signed. Entrance door broken. No welcome. Very rude owner who was arguing with another set of guests on our arrival. Notified time of our arrival as requested - received confirmation email to OK it. When we arrived told had arrived too early - go away and come back later! Room disappointing - cramped and very basic. Toilet incredibly noisy on flushing - clearly not working properly. Unpleasant smell in room. Owner very rude. On leaving demanded cash not card - despite website saying credit cards accepted. Luckily we were able to get cash out easily. Breakfast not on site - around the corner in a bar and very minimal. Youngest son wanted juice instead of coffee - had to pay for this separately. DON'T GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS. Whole thing seemed like a bit of a scam to rip tourists off.
