We had a twin room with shared bathroom. Our room was very quiet and had high ceilings and lots of light; it was very simple though - just two beds, a couple of chairs and a desk. No wastebasket, or coat hooks, but that's fairly typical for hostels. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was generous (it costs an extra two euros) - toast, cereal, juice, coffee and tea. The shower was fine and the bathroom was generally fine except for a crack in the toilet. The only issue was that it was shared between up to eight people which is quite a lot, so there was a wait at times, and also by the end of the day it was quite dirty. Overall we were happy with Mamma Mia, the staff were friendly, and the location was good - close to Roma Termini and to the red metro line.
