“Functional and in a great location”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 November 2011

The apartment was comfortable, basic and very clean. We had a few problems with the hot water, I think the owner must have known there were problems because they explained how we should use the reset button on the boiler. Unfortunately, we didnt get the hang of it and had tepid showers for three nights. The kitchen was fairly basic but you don't really intend spending much time cooking when in Rome. The only downside I would say is that there was no where to sit apart from at the kitchen table. It would be nice to have somewhere more comfortable to have a glass or two of vino before you go out for the evening. The location is excellent, walking distance to all the main attractions. All in all, a really good location and a very functional and appropriately priced place to stay

“Great location, amazing owner, and wonderful apartment”

The apartment is in a nice quiet area between Barberini and Spagna station. Very safe and quiet area, among high end hotels and restaurants. Spacious rooms made for a very comfortable stay, and many amenities were provided. The apartment we stayed in was perfect for our family of 4, and had a really homey feel to it. I would DEFINITELY stay here again.

The owner was AMAZING, and was always available to answer any questions we had. He went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. I forgot my phone in the apartment, and he made sure it was mailed to me the same day.

All in all, this place made our stay in Rome so much more enjoyable.

“Great Location and Value for Money”

The manager of the apartment, David, was incredibly helpful arranging airport transfers and taxis for us. The rooms were not 5 star but then we were not paying 5 star prices either. They were basic but clean and there was ample room for the 5 us us in the 2 bedroom apartment. And we felt completely safe and secure at all times. The location was fantastic, we were minutes away from Via Veneto and the Metro station. It was also easy walking distance to the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and Villa Borghese. I would definitely recommend Aurora to families travelling to Rome that want a good location at a reasonable price.

“Quiet among expensive hotels, walking distance to Trevi and Pantheon, Piazza Navona, shopping, super market, etc.”

Wonderful location, extremely quiet, just off Via Veneto and Ludovisi, very near exclusive Hotel Eden and Westin. We stayed in a 2 bedroom, 1 bath, kitchen unit. It was quite spacious by Rome standards. Super Mercato nearby, gelateria, Hard Rock Cafe, US Embassy where WiFi is available at cafe's nearby our apartment. Many, many restaurants. I would stay here again.
