I was to Rossana Gues House for a short vacation of 3 days with a couple of friends. We have made the reservation several months in advance, but we were amazed to see actually that this location does not exist (there is an apartment in a very old building, that was actually closed, no reception no nothing). By phone we were invited to a differet location, where we received an "alternative" accomodation in a building that actually each floor represents one hotel (by the way all of them with a terrible look). Unfortunatelly part of the group was splitted between one hotel and part on another (as I said in one building there were several hotels, up to 9). It is said that they have the same administration and that's why they are sharing their visitors between them. Anyway, the conditions were the worst I have ever seen, as I have paid an amount of 110 euros per nisght I was expecting to receive at least what I have saw in the pictures of Rossana Guest House. One of the received rooms as replacement was full of bugs in the bathroom, with very bad smell and dirty walls. The conditions generally in that building were as bad as you could imagine excpet for one hotel located at the 2nd floor (Gabriella). On the building actually there were rooms that were renovated and that were looking a little bit better (but don't imagine something nice) and the rest of them were looking exctly as a poor cheap hostel were you expect to stay with 10 euro per night. I connot recomend to anyone to do a reservation to Rossana Guest House as you might end to lose your advance and due to the reservation policy also to pay the first night if you decide not to stay there. So as a conclusion : Rossana House reservation was more like somebody who is having an apartment and he is subcontracting some other hotels located in Via Palestra (like Stargate Hotel, Philia, Hostel Termini....) (next to Via Marghera were is the official address of Rossana Guest House), and as a result you are ending to stay in a very low comfort for a price that actually you may pay for a 4 stars hotel.
