“Very cheap! Very dirty!”

We stayed here for a night or two to grab a shower and some sights.
This hostle is so cheap the price however does reflect the state of the place. The staff are friendly and helpful. They have a kitchen for you to prepare your own food.. If you can find any kitchen ware :/ the room was ok dirty but ok. The showers were awful half were broken and the bath they are over I wouldn't stand in bare foot!! The location is a simple
Bus ride to centre and a small supermarket is near. Be aware the local authority place homeless here sometimes. The breakfast was free not pleasant but FREE.

“Excellent service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 July 2011

My brother and I stayed there for two nights in July and it was a great experience.
It's true, the hostel is far from the city center, but it does not take 1 hour to travel to the center, we counted 20-30min max on the trips we made during our stay.
The hostel staff is super friendly and the hostel is very clean, they give you breakfast which is not fancy, coffee, tea, croissants and cereal, but we didn't get anything at the other hostels we stayed, and those were around 5 euros more expensive.
Also, you can use the kitchen and there is a small supermarket two blocks away.
Overall, I would recommend it to friends.

“good kitchen, clean beds and polite behavior of the hostel staffs”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 January 2011

Though hostel is far from the city center, we enjoyed our stay in the hostel. The main thing i liked most about the hostel is cleanliness, helpful and polite behavior of the hostel staffs. Above all, the hostel is offering a good service in cheap price.

“Far from the city, Dirty, but Cheap”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 December 2010

To get to this hostel you must take the subway all the way out of the city, and then a bus another couple of miles into an area that is not very desirable. The hostel is gated. The owner's cats were running around the hostel. The bathrooms were very dirty...had to wear my shoes at all times for sure in those showers! The room was not terrible and it was fairly quiet. There was free internet access and beers for a dollar. They also had a kitchen where you could cook your own food. The free breakfast was a single croissant and coffee. You get what you pay for though, and this hostel was quite a bargain. If you can avoid staying here--DO. But, in a bind if you can't find anything else it isn't the absolute worst you could do...but there are a lot of cons. The staff was very friendly and helpful though. The worst part about this hostel was its distance from the city. It was about a 30min ride into the city. We had to leave at 5:00am to get to the Vatican and get in line by 6am (it was the last sunday of the month so there was no entry fee to the museums).
