“Mok'House Rocks!!!”

All we can say is - we really miss Mok House & Rome! We originally booked ourselves for 2 nights (9 - 11 Jan 2012) in Rome but extended our stay till 13 Jan.

It was relatively easy to find the hotel from Termini station on our arrival. Took us about 15 mins to walk over with a 17 kg luggage per person. Got the 500 room on 3rd level, which is a nice, cosy & romantic room. The idea of a cosy, modern room set conveniently in an old town location really made our 4 nights' stay homely and comfortable. It didn't really bother us having to lug our luggage up the flight of stairs, guessed we got use to it as many other apartments we stay while in Europe all came with no elevators.

Marco & team are also very friendly and provided us with all the information we need about Rome, even before we asked them. Truly appreciate their hospitality. We got complimentary WIFI throughout our stay.

Breakfast at il Pasticciaccio was wonderful too. The croissants are so yummy that we always end up ordering more.

We walked to everywhere from the apartment, from Ancient Rome, modern Rome.. even to Vatican City. It's really not too far away and we could take in the beautiful sights of Rome as we walked.

Will definitely stay in Mok'House again the next time we visit Rome, but hope we will get another room with balcony. Also strongly recommend this apartment to anyone who wants a good stay in Rome.

“A wonderful mix of History and Style”

Would you believe that a B&B located few steps from Colosseum and Fori Imperiali located in a historic building can offer a Stylish stay? Yes you can.
Mock House has the perfect location in Rome. Walking distance from the major attractions, surrounded by nice restaurants and bar, and also 6 mins walking from Termini Train station and 3 mins walk to the Metro station.
Service is top level.
Marco Andrea Shamon and the rest of the crew will welcome you to their beautiful home making sure you feel part of the family.
Room are spacious with a beautiful original brick ceiling.
Mine, the 500 pop, was decorated following the style of the most famous italian car : the fiat 500, great idea and great style.
Breakfast at "il pasticciaccio" ,a local bar, has been fresh and tasty every day.
I will definetely come back again and strongly reccomend this to everyone looking to spend sometime in Rome.

Room Tip: I love the "500" POP

“Amazing trip!”

We stayed in Mok'House for 3 nights, and it was a fantastic experience!
We stayed in the Vespa room, which was modern and stylish, which made it a lovely haven to come back to after a day of sight seeing! The free wifi in the rooms was a huge bonus, as most hotels we had previously stayed in either did not have internet or charged for use of wifi.
Marco was an excellent host, from recommending some great restaurants (the ,amatriciana
was unbelievable!!!) and giving us directions to the metro and great local places to visit.
I would tell everyone when visiting Rome they must stay here, it was the best experience we have ever had, and we when we come back to Rome in the future we would stay nowhere else!

Thanks a lot guys for your amazing review! It's been a pleasure to have you here and...you know what? The day after you left I quitted smoking!!! It's now 2 weeks...this is the best part of having a B&B: socialize and share the experiences, so that when you have 2 doctors in the house it is a good idea to listen to their advices. ;) Looking forward to have you back and to visit you in Belfast soon! Ciao!!!

We stayed in Mok'house for 3 nights. The rooms was lovely. Andrea and Marco were very friendly and helpful. They prepared all the travel information in Roma in detail. The location is very central and closed to most of attrations.

Room Tip: If you want a private shower room in your room, you can choose 500 room. But there is a private show...

“Perfect place to stay for a short or long period and experience many sides of Rome”

Had a great time at Mok house! Rooms are stylish and whole building and the surrounding area has a nice atmosphere. I loved the little Fiats in my room. Lively shops, cafés and restaurants around every corner. I also enjoyed jogging in the morning, going by Colosseum and buying little pastries or delicious prociutto from the little shop across the street. Also close to metro and Termini station, so easy to reach. And Marco was really helpful in helping find good restaurants or finding a taxi in the rain. I really recommend this place!
