The location's great I would say, very convenient. But the room's kinda makeshift, unmatched furniture, bed's really quite old and wardrobe's old and has a musky smell...we are supposed to hv an attached bathroom but guess what, the bathroom outside the room (not the real problem) and a makeshift curtain then separates both the bedroom and the bathroom fr the corridor of the apt, supposedly attaching them. But we didn't like the feeling of "who might came behind from the curtain??" the corridor is dark which makes it more creepy...we just didnt felt safe at this place. The breakfast was really "sad"...the coffee was like instant cook kind and food was only biscuits, nutella and some cereal...the coffee was the worst I ever had, serious.

We had a great stay at B&B Danilo, which was more like staying at a family home than a B&B.
Although the B&B is situated in an apartment complex on a main road in Trastevere, once we had found the B&B and had been shown to our rooms we were immediately glad that we'd chosen to stay here.
The family - Danilo and his parents live/work here, were so kind and helpful throughout our stay. We were shown the main places to see in Rome, and breakfast every morning was lovely - Danilo's dad is a very funny guy and we had a great laugh with him every morning. Also his extra strong cafe latte is sure to set you up for the day.
Our room was great and decked out in traditional Italian style, but we did have to share a bathroom with the 4 other rooms. This was never a huge problem though and overall the B&B was great value for money and in a great area of Rome - a welcome retreat from the centre of Rome and there's many great restaurants and shops nearby for the evening.

We had a great stay where we felt like we experienced a true Roman home, and we'd definitely go back. Highly recommended!

I stood with a friend of mine for one week in Danilos B&B, and we really enjoyed that place. The rooms are bright, clean and lovely decorated, the beds were comfortable and the service was great. We got plenty of tips, where we can go to eat, where we can go to see amazing places, how to get anywhere we wanted, and so on. They were always with a smile on their faces, really nice and polite. The B&B itself finds it position in a wonderful part of rome, and you can find everything there, what you could like to enjoy.
