My sister and I found Vatican Walls B&B on line. I read good reviews and the location, price was right. We were delighted. Our hostess Moira was charming and did everything in her power to make our stay wonderful. Moira works very hard to keep the rooms spotless. The kitchen is clean and well equipt. Moira even has fresh eggs available in the fridge should one wish to make an American style breakfast. The location is just south of the Vatican wall, one block from a number of busses to the heart of town. We stayed four nights and when we left Moira helped us with our bags, gave our destination to the cab driver and warned him not to raise the fare or try to cheat us in any way. Moira ever gave us a souvenir paperweight as a gift and rememberance of Roma! This was my sister's first trip to Rome and she was absolutely charmed.

This B&B was suggested by another Rome B&B that was booked up. It's not well advertised and not listed on normal BB sites. The owner, a young Italian woman spoke decent English and was extremely helpful. She has two rooms, one a little larger and both with nice balconies. Both rooms are very clean and well decorated. Breakfast is all packaged items as required by Italian law and served in a comfortable kitchen. Within walking distance of the Vatican entrance. Spent three nights there during our Rome visit and would recommend it to our friends.
