You have to be adventurous enough to come to this hotel after midnight. And if you do, make sure you speak some Italian and the taxi driver notes down the building number, not just the street.
Well, it was hard to find at night, in the dark street with weird numbering. We missed it twice with a taxi, so had to walk, not to make one more circle in the one-way streets. After we finally found the hotel, we had to explain ourselves in broken Italiano.
The AC did not work in our room and it was a bit noisy with the open window (birds and dogs were quite loud:). The walls in the room were also very thin...
Te breakfast rectified the situation a bit with the smell of jasmine in the yard and a friendly hostess who did not speak English either).
The hotel is 20 min away by bus from the center. The bus was hot and crowded, but we took it as a way to see real Rome:).
Note that the hotel has no online booking system and only accepts cash.
The restaurant by the hotel closed the minute we walked in at 23.00, so we had to go 1,3 km back to the only place still open in that area - kebab.
