“Close to station”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 November 2010

It was a clean place a short walk from the Termini station. We needed a place to crash and unwind before continuing with our trip further into south Italy. The bed were well made, people and staff were good and breakfast was ok. The building was quite old but interiors were good. Shower and loo were better than satisfactory.

It is definitely well located and value for money.

“Great for a day or two, but not for longer trips”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 November 2009

This is coming from the perspective of a person who stayed there for a while -- inbetween looking for an apartment. It's a great place to stay if you're only there for a few days, but if you're going to be staying there longer-- not so much.

The rooms are good--bathrooms can get very dirty and smelly and you really can't cook in their kitchen because the oven is broken-- but that's not a huge problem because you can just go use the kitchen upstairs at Allessandro downtown. The English woman who works during the evening is super nice, friendly and helpful. However, the woman who's there early in the morning until early evening is one of the coldest people I've ever met in my life. While it's something most travelers won't really have to deal with (since her hours are when most go sight seeing), it can be unwelcoming for those who need to stay there longer.

“Not cosy, but bearable”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 October 2009

The location is good in the sence that it's very close to Termini station. As long as I got from the airport around midnight, that was nice. Rooms are more or less clean, but quite inconvinient: 1. There was only one light for a room of 6/8 people, which basically means that you are waken up by smbd turning on the light. 2. There was only ONE socket in a room for 6/8 people. Taking in considearion that everybody has at least his/her cell phone and laptop, that was too bad.
The staff is friendly, breakfasts are standable and the showers are quite clean.
Good for those who travel in a company, for a solo traveler it's harder.

“Clean, friendly, fantastic location, one of the better hostel's I've stated at”

I was greeted by an enthusiastic, helpful lady at the counter, the rooms were large and clean, plenty of toilets and showers which were also clean, and nice kitchen/communal area. Only a three minute walk from Termini Station so the location is great too. Perhaps not the best if you're a single female walking through the area late at night, but stay with a group and you'll be fine. Highly recommended hostel!
