“Cheap, handy location and very friendly staff ...”

I am 33-years-old and thought I was too old for a hostel but was pleased to see there were a whole range of people staying there.

The hostel was cheap, very clean and friendly staff who were available to help 24-hours a day and it is very secure.

Next time I go to Rome I will stay here again, and next time I will bring my wife!!!

Room Tip: Get one with an en-suite bathroom - either way I was impressed.

“good hostel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 November 2011

We stayed here for 4 nights. We got lots af help from staff to navigate our way around, security was great with lots of cameras and a buzz in system, breakfast was ok, location was good the termini station was close by to access all transport although you can also walk for 30 minutes approx to town. There are some great cheap cafes and restuarant in the area. Overall a nice place to stay.

“OK facilities, nice staff”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 October 2011

The dorm rooms are pretty basic and don't have enough storage or anywhere to hang a towel (even in the bathrooms, you have to put your stuff on the toilet lid!). The room was very clean when I checked in but it was not cleaned for the next 3 days. Staff are very helpful, especialy those on the evening shift. Not a great place to meet people though as there are no activities organised, but an OK place to stay in a good location not far fromTermini station.Could be easily improved with more storage, hooks in the rooms and bathrooms, bathmats and resupply of loo paper!

Room Tip: I stayed in two different 2-person dorms and they were very different - one had its own bathroom and...

“Awesome Hostel! Must Go!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 September 2011

The owner is there at all times! His name is Luca... He is a very nice guy and friendly with everyone.. He brought wine and food and threw a party and took everyone out on the town! He really has a good hostel! The rooms are spacious and you have your own personal locker.. The windows opened up to the street front for a great view! This hostel is only 5-10 minutes walking from the train station... There are bathrooms for the hall and for the room so you always have your own bathroom... I highly recommend this hostel!

Room Tip: Stay here!

“Good breakfast, helpful staff, clean rooms!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 June 2011 via mobile

We stayed at mosaic for 3 nights. Though we don't like Rome much the hotel proved a nice retreat from the chaos and noise of the city. The entrance was very secure with staff needing to buzz you through two doors plus your own key to the room. There are surveillance cameras and lockers in the front entry for storing valuables, you have to bring your own lock. The breakfast was good, juice, coffee, toast, 3 kinds of cereal,2 kinds of pastries, croissants. Plenty to keep you full until lunch. The staff was very helpful, providing maps and directions. They even told us we were going to dinner too early....apparently 8 pm is a normal start time for dinner :-) the room was clean and had enough storage. Though we shared a bathroom with one other room, it was very clean and had plenty of hot water. The towels were extra, I do wish they would provided a shower rug and handtowel for the 2 euro it cost. It was a little far from the main sights but close to the termini tain station which has metro and bus stops. Overall, this was a good home base for us. Thanks to the desk workers who answered our numerous questions!
