I booked a triple room in the Hotel Dalhi situated in Via Napoleone III in Rome. The booking was for two nights starting on the 25th of September and it was made with two months in advance. When I arrived on that day to the hotel, the person in charged came out and he did not let me in the hotel saying that it was over-booked. As I work in a hotel, I understood the situation and I asked him for help to find another hotel. He said to me that he did not have to find any hotel and he left us outside the building without any explanation. It was fustrating the way we were treated. I gave my card number as a guarantee for the booking and as far as I am concerned, the hotel should pay the difference with the price of any other hotel. I was with my mother and my sister running everywhere looking for another hotel for two nights. Obviously, they were more expensive because its not the same booking in advance. I paid in the hotel Milo 240 pound when I was supposed to pay 170 pounds according to my booking made in the hotel Dhali. I couldn't even call the agency as I was in a hurry as I had some tickets for the Vatican Museum and I needed to find somewhere to spend the night as soon as possible. As a customer, I felt really dissapointed and I cannot believe that you advertise hotels like that. I think you are completely responsible for all the inconveniences that I experienced and I cannot trust this agency for future bookings.
