Its a very nice apartment with great location (Spanish Steps), it was easy walking into and throughout the downtown part of Roma. Rooms were a bit small but very elegant, comfortable and clean. The breakfast buffet in La Barcaccia Café, overlooking the Spanish Stepswas was valuble. Natasha and her husband were just excellent they truly helpful and cared about the guests.

“good value for money - if space and breakfast are not important to you”
I stayed at Al 55 with a friend in February.Apart from the great location - city center, close to sights and shops - there isn't much to recommend this place for.
The room was too small and although breakfast was served at the corridor outside, there was no space to sit and enjoy it and we had to eat on our beds.
I will not come back and stay there next time I'm in Rome since there are a lot of 3-star hotels near the city centre offering more comfort at the same price.
I'd also like to add that except Fabio, the rest of the reception staff were rather rude.
