“Home from home Italian style”

We all loved this hotel - Rome was very cold during our stay and this was a clean, cosy, warm refuge after endless hours of touristing - breakfast on a tray in our room was fab! Is situated at pretty side of city(we think) and well placed for buses to all areas.Best asset were the staff who were really friendly and helpful.
Ps. be aware you need to pay a city tax in cash when you check out

“So Charming, So Wonderful, So Fabulous, So Unique!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 February 2011

First of all, I just want to say that the title fits for Bruno, Staff and the B&B. We booked a quadruple room (family with 2 teenagers) for 4 nights but actually it was a double room with a queen size bed and 2 extra single beds. On the first night, we felt that the room was tight. And the breakfast which was served in our bedroom, could definitely not fit for four on the tiny table. Bruno was so helpful and proposed to upgrade with a second double room with an extra of 40 € per night which was worth it. Our daughters were delighted, we all had more space and our stay became wonderful. The rooms are cozy, charming, very clean with wood floors. There might be 8 or 9 rooms which occupy the 4th floor of a buiding where companies sit and where private individuals live. There is a little reception at the entrance of the Domus Inn. We have a feeling of warm and felted atmosphere. Breakfast was served in our bedroom by Bruno. All our requests always found an answer from Bruno. We are a French family and we are used to travelling a lot all around the world with our daughters in hotels, palaces, bed&breakfast, inns, guest houses, motels but except in Costa Rica or in Bali, we do not remember having had such a quality service. Bruno is guest-oriented service, helpful, welcoming, always available and smiling with an unequalled kindness. Bruno, you are a GENTLEMAN, really! And in this world which is becoming mad, it is comforting to think that gentle people still exist. The other guy (Ravi or Saheed ?) who replaces Bruno at evening and night is also very nice and helpful. This was our first stay in Rome but we intend to come back and thanks to this welcome, we'll surely stay at Domus Inn again. Thank you to all. Merci beaucoup! Grazie Mille!

“Exceptional service, gem of an inn”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 November 2010

My husband and I stayed at the Domus Inn and were delighted with our stay. First and foremost- the friendly service was the best I have encountered in quite some time. Upon our arrival, we received a street map and information about the close bus lines and metro lines to reach the main attractions. Also, we asked for a restaurant recommendation, which was excellent. Above all, the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.
The rooms (we were given a free upgrade for the second night) were nicely situated and decorated, with hardwood floors, a chandelier and small balconies. The bathrooms were nicely tiled and clean. The room surpassed our expectations for an inn in this price range.
Breakfast is served in your room (as this is a small inn with little shared space), which I found to be a nice feature as you can have a nice, relaxed breakfast, though some may disagree.
The inn does get some late night street noise from a bar down the street and a night club. However, I imagine it would be hard to find a hotel in Rome that does not have this same issue, and most are probably in busier areas of the city.
The personal service of this pretty inn is a true find. We had a great stay, and would definitely recommend this gem of an inn.

“Cozy, friendly, convenient, great service, personal treatment”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 October 2010

In a private building, small and welcoming. Short bus ride to any point of interest. Very helpful, caring staff. Away from hustle and bustle of loud tourist area, but very convenient to everything. We spent 5 nights and would go back for sure.
