“Well run studio apartments in a brilliant location”

We stayed in the smallest of the apartments, Topazio for one week. Although not large it felt spacious enough for the two of us. Paolo met us on our arrival and explained everything we needed to know. The apartments are simple, clean and comfortable. The location is excellent, all the sights are walkable and there are plenty of good restaurants within a very short walk. Having previously stayed in hotels in Rome this offered a different experience. We felt at home straight away, it was interesting foraging for food in the local delis and supermarkets and being able to fix our own breakfasts and the occasional meal. I can't imagine ever staying anywhere else now we know about this place.

“Fantastic stay and Paolo was the best!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 December 2010

We are a family of 3 one of whom is a teenager and we were looking for somewhere convenient and with enough space. We found it in Ripetta 25 and for those of you who are finicky about the bathroom, this is the place for you. The bathroom was spacious, clean and modern with all the hot water you need. What really made the difference for us was Paolo who was so helpful with safety tips but the icing on the cake was when we left behind a 3 parcels. A frantic call to him from the airport was all it took for him to ensure he not only found our items but offered to help courier it back to us. To say we were impressed and grateful is an understatement given that we were pickpocketed in Rome, despite our efforts at safe-guarding our possessions. Good thing we took his earlier advice to leave our passports in the safe in our room. We highly recommend this place, location was great with access to shopping and eating joints just on the same if not the next street. Despite its convenient location, it was quiet, something we valued at the end of a long day exploring all Rome had to offer. Thanks Paolo!

“Perfect Holiday Stay - can't wait to go back”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 November 2010

For about the same price as a pokey hotel room, my hubby and i got a fully furnished and serviced apartment. The apartment is charming on the otside, housed in an old building probably a few hundred years old (just like everything else in rome) and an antique working life. The inside is moderm, clean and tastefully furnished with luxirious bath room.

Freash fruit anf free mini bar and free maps was a nice and vet helpful touch.

Couldn't have asked for a better location. Few minutes walk to subway, heaps of shopping and eating choices nearby. Most of the major attractions within 20 minutes walk..

After an exhausting day of sight seeing and shopping, my hubby and i would order a freash hot pizza and dessert from "Pizza Re" just a few doors down and chill on the couch watching some telly :-)

The only critism i would have is that the free wifi never worked which caused us a great inconvience as free public wifi is quite difficult to find due to anti terrorist laws.

“Perfect !!! Loved the location, loved the apartment, loved everything!!!”

We just got back to the States last night and we loved our 8 night stay at Via Di Ripetta 25, Rome, Italy; I would heartily endorse anyone staying there. We were 5 hours late arriving and came by taxi but the manager only charged us 30 euros late fee which was already told to us in the booking print out we received.
He stayed and told us how to work everything in the apartment and gave us a bottle of wine and fruit basket upon our arrival. Our apartment was spotlessly clean and was cleaned everyday we were there except on weekend days.
Very close to the metro which we used the Flamino and it was close to the Spanish steps and the best shopping and high end stores are just a couple of streets over on Via Del Corsa.
Nice little restaurant right under the side bedroom window we watched people eating there for a few days and decided our last night to eat close by and chose that location for our last dinner, got a bottle of house wine and a couple of pizzas and a big salad to share among 4 people. Food was good and cheap. I would recommend it if your staying in the area, wish I could remember the name of it but it is under your side bedroom window with the outside seating. I think you will enjoy it very much.
I would stay at Via Di Ripetta 25 again and you will love the safe in the room, has all the conveniences of home and more. I loved waking up to the sounds of the neighborhood but if you want quiet just shut all the windows and you won't hear hardly anything in the room. The windows are almost sound proof but we enjoyed the sounds so we left them open almost the whole 8 days. There is a small meat market in front of the apartment and we enjoyed watching the butchers weigh the meat and deliver it to the restaurants in the neighborhood. Also, a small market just across the street that we used to buy stuff.
But, you probably won't need much, the apartment had the small refrigerator filled with a few drinks and snacks at no extra charge for your eating pleasure.
I WOULD STAY HERE AGAIN AND AGAIN. Write me if you have any questions... Bren

“Ideal base in Rome for a family”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 July 2010

Our family of 4 loved Ripetta 25! Think of it as an alternative to a hotel: it's a former flat that's been converted into four studio-style apartments (bed in loft, sofabed in livingroom, nicely equipped mini-kitchen). Unlike a hotel there's often no staff around once you've checked in, but unlike a hotel you have a nicely equipped place of your own, for a very reasonable price. (Our only complaint is that the bed was pretty hard, but we found that everywhere in Italy... The sofabed was, well, no better than other sofabeds.)

R25 is in a great part of town -- lots of restaurants and interesting shops just outside your door, a few more blocks take you to the overfancy shopping (Gucci etc) of the Spanish Steps area, several more blocks (15-20 min walk?) and you're at Piazza Navonna, the Forum, and pretty much everything else. Quick walk to a Metro stop, too. Would love to go back, spend two weeks at R25, and really get to know the crazy complexity of Rome, beyond the major sights.
