After a cruise, three couples stayed at 25 Ripetta in Rome for 4 nights. The location was great - a few blocks from a popular square and close to the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain. Two couples walked to the Vatican; the other took taxi for about $8. We used the metro once. It was easy. It is possible to walk to most attractions, but taxis were not as expensive as we anticipated. There are many small, wonderful restaurants in the neighborhood and a small grocery and pharmacy across the street. We had a small kitchen area with a cooktop and small refrigerator (with complimentary treats), also a microwave. We were greeted with a basket of apples. Paolo was extremely helpful. Although the residence is only staffed for part of the day, he was available by phone to help us with the TV. Our room had two modern and well-equipped bathrooms. There is a cage-type elevator for those who need it. Internet was spotty but free. The room was spotless; it was cleaned daily but towels only exchanged every 3 days. We would definitely recommend for the accommodations, the price, and the location.
