I had booked this place for a week and made as suggested on the site the deposit and final payment to be made on arrival. I had emailed the chap what time I was coming, on arriving....and waiting for over an hour I asked someone to call him. When he finally arrived he explained that I needed to pay a booking charge on the top of what has been advertised on the site - this really has left me feeling ripped off and angry. During the week there was no running hot or warm water, only when a female friend of his arrived did he switch on hot water, it was great for a shower, after that, he switched off the hot water and I was back on cold water, including brushing my teeth with this cold water. Once I left my room for an hour and he must have gone in my room to turn air conditioning off and having a wee nosey among my belongings too - I noticed this as a few items had been placed wrongly. For breakfast he explained to my rather short and awkward that I needed to ge along the street, turn right and then left agsin for my breakfast. I made the effort several times but could not locate it. I gave up in the end as any approach would have spoiled my brief stay there even more.

I CAN ONLY SAY THAT THIS HAS BEEN A MISERABLE EXPERIENCE AND THAT I WILL NEVER, EVER RETURN TO THIS PLACE AGAIN!!!

The room was good, location excellent and a good breakfast system worked for us. unfortunately we booked in just after 8 at night for which we had to pay a penalty - this we did not agree with especially because we did say that we are on our way.

i had been a lot of times in Rome, but that one was the best.
the location was perfect, completely immersed in the center of Rome, just steps from St. Peter's. Room was very confortable and also i have had a delicious italian breakfast .
For the first time I had access to a custumer service at any time of day, perfect for information and help.

I came here due to its cheaper price, and close location to the Vatican. An excellent, excellent choice. I think its location, though some times criticized, is wonderful. Getting up early to visit the Vatican was brutal, but the short five minute walk made it a lot easier.

It was extremely clean, and the staff very helpful. About a seven minute walk from the subway.
