My husband and I stayed here for four nights in June. It was a late deal with Lastminute.com. It was the only accommodation I found that didn't have any bad reviews on Tripadvisor which is why we went for it and we weren't disappointed. The reception staff were all very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. When we arrived we were shown to a room without a balcony. I mentioned that I thought all rooms had a balcony to which I was told they didn't but if we wanted to wait a few minutes she would contact housekeeping to see if there was a free room with a balcony at no extra cost. We were moved to the top floor which had a fantastic view overlooking St Peter's Basillica about 200 yards away!! Amazing. The rooms were old but very clean and functional. The breakfasts were lovely..croissants, rolls, toast, fresh fruit and something cooked each day. Too much really but we didn't have the heart to tell them. It was served on our balcony which was even nicer. The establishment is on a busy road and the traffic can be quite noisy but if you keep your windows shut at night it isn't a problem. There is air conditioning in the rooms. The B&B is in an ideal position for sightseeing. It's a max of 15 mins on the bus to the main sights of the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Palatine etc and you can catch the Metro to The Spanish Steps which is only 4 stops away and from here you can then walk to The Trevi Fountain, Pantheon areas. Nearer to hand is St Peter's Basillica (4 mins walk) and The Vatican Museum (15 mins walk). The bus journeys cost us 1 Euro each way per person and you can stay on the one bus for a max of 75mins and it won't cost you any more. The Metro to The Spanish Steps also cost 1 Euro per person. We ate at The Goose Restaurant each night which was about two minutes walk away from where we stayed. Come out of the B&B, turn right and walk past the Indian Restaurant, cross over the road and walk through a car park with a Beer cellar type establishment in it and you will see the restaurant across the road. The food was fabulous (typical Italian fayre) and very reasonable. The most we paid was 40 Euros for the two of us for three courses, a beer and a bottle of wine! Amazing value for Rome. The staff are very friendly and most speak English. It opens at 7pm. It might be advisable to book if you are planning to eat there on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday. The place gets busy with locals which is a good indication of how tasty the food is. All in all we had a brilliant stay in Rome and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend this B&B to anyone.

I came across L'Angolo di San Pietro by chance, when looking through lastminute.com and booked a spur of the moment holiday to Rome. We were not dissapointed!

The hotel only has a handful of rooms, run by a fantastically friendly team on hand 24 hours a day. The rooms are very well sized, with a bedroom, bathroom and kitchen/utility area with a small hob, fridge, table and chairs. Every morning we had a lovely breakfast served in our room, but we could have had it outside on our private veranda if the weather was better.

The locatation of this hotel is superb, only 5 minutes walk to St Peter's and 10 minutes to the train station connecting to the airport (1 change/45 mins). There are a good selection of places to eat, in particular The Goose about 2 minutes walk away.

The hotel is staffed 24 hours a day, and a friendly member of staff is always on hand to help. My only criticism is that the staff need some improved local knowledge, as their local directions weren't great and their knowledge of how the hotel was connected to the airport was poor...but this is only a minor point.

This is a lovely little B&B, and comes highly reccomended!

We could see the Basilica from the deck of our room. This hotel is a small boutique type hotel that is literally a stone's throw from the walls of the Vatican City. In fact in order to really walk anywhere you have to walk through part of the Vatican City.

We go to there after a bad experience, and we are not waiting a good stay in Rome, but this hotel changes our vision.
All the people are very lovely, and the checkin was made very quickly, the room are very clean, all the stuff works good.
Is very near of Vaticano (the best in Rome) and have train, metro and a lot of bus lines near.
During the night you can see the San Pietro Basilic.
