We'd stayed at 3 different hotels in Italy before this while on our trip and this one was the best and I think the cheapest. This is a small place--maybe 6 or 8 rooms on one floor of a nondescript apartment building.

So first of all, we were lucky enough to have been spotted looking for our hotel while walking around outside by the manager. He doesn't actually stay in the building except when people are checking in/out, so I'm not sure how people normally get in to their rooms...

There was free AC, wireless internet, and breakfast (at least better than a croissant if I remember). The only bummer was that we could only get one key between the four of us. I would stay there again.

We got to this hotel to find no sign out front except a tiny one on the doorbell...went to the floors it was listed on to find a paper sign on a door...no one answered the buzzer and stood in the hot hallway for 40 minutes while one of the guests of the hotel talked to us through the door and told us someone would eventually be coming to let us in...then two other guests were on their way out and we let ourselves in...another hour or so passed with no receptionist or anyone showing up...then we found our name on a piece of paper with the number 5 next to it...luckily, the room number five had a key in it, so we let ourselves in...we were exhausted after travelling...then someone eventually showed up, asked for a cash payment, we had already paid through hotels.com online and had the confirmation number with us...they still had to call someone to varify...breakfast was stale bread...we got out of there as soon as we could in the morning...the staff was horrible, unfriendly and miserable...like I wrote in my headline...don't even think about staying at this place under any circumstances!!!!!!

This is not an hotel.The building is a block of apartments and the hotel is on the third floor.We were met by the guy who owns it and could not speak a word of english.The hotel is in the chinese quarter of the city.Hotel is run by chinese.It is totally self service breakfast if you can call it a breakfast.The chinese lady at breakfast sat behind her lap top in the kitchenette area.so rude,we complained about having a cold shower,so later that day she would not leave us any toilet roll.The hotel is a dump.
Please do not stay there.

One of the worst places we've ever stayed. The rooms were minimal, several had mold in showers and around air conditioning and almost all were directly on the street so the road noise was terrible. The website shows a beautiful room and an amazing breakfast. We got hard pieces of white bread, some prepackaged croissants and some dry cereal. Terrible. Also, the staff was incredibly unfriendly and unhelpful (they were actually downright rude). In fact, they demanded that we pay the balance of our account immediately upon our arrival and insisted that it be paid in cash (which was not stated at any point in the reservation literature). We were with a group of 14 and most were from the States so we didn't have that many euros on hand. After much discussion, they agreed to allow us to pay by credit card (they had quite a nice credit card machine it turns out). No matter what a deal it might appear to be, do not stay here. There are lots of other hotels in Rome.
