If you can find a way to communicate with the VERY SWEET owner who speaks no english, it's TOTALLY worth it to stay at Gerbera. (I emailed her and used google-translator to translate my emails into italian. The location was awesome - it's on the eastern side of town, a few metro stops past the Colluseum - I think it took about 10 minutes to get there by train. The neighborhood was SO nice...cute little cafes and lots of parks - it's definately a more local scene and very quiet. She gives you breakfast coupons for some great cafes that are just down the street - YUMMY! The rooms are spottless and she leaves candy out for guests - what more could you want? Don't hesitate to stay here.
