Worst weather in Rome for 25 years...snow and freezing conditions....and as always, reviews are by their very nature subjective. This little private "B & B" has to be - under normal circumstances - a very convenient bolt-hole for your sightseeing trip to Rome. A very quiet and safe neighbourhood with the station just 5 minutes walk (trains to the airport an to the city)...... a great 'local' pizza place just on the corner (Mary's Pizza)....... and a handy supermarket just 100 metres or so away. Don't be expecting some 3 or 4 star hotel.....this is what it says on the tin......'Happy Days' for happy people. Don't be expecting a gourmet breakfast either! This is Italy where less is more when it comes to food.....quality not quantity! So a nice homemade cake and freshly made 'real' coffee will be the order of the day......and you will definitely be made to feel 'at home' here.

“The worst hostel I've ever been”

We stayed at this hostel for three nights and it was terrible. First of all, the place was too dirty and the environment was sad and dark. There are not enough bathrooms and those are very dirty and dark. The staff is very rude and impolite. They don't give you tourist information, they say they are your friends but they don't like to help you. There is not security at all, you have to put your staff under the bed. At night, the music is very loud and you can't sleep. The only good thing is the location. I don't recommend it.

Happy Days is a comfy place with a lot of character! Just steps away from the train station, so you can reach the airport in about 20 minutes, and there is a lovely garden in front and back of the house. And just an extra tip, the gelateria nearby is excellent!
