I saw the glam brochure, paid my deposit bank transfer of one night for single accommodation but ensuring that I had a good large bed as I am 60 yrs of age and tall. Like previous review: hard to find front door amidst scaffolding; was basically reprimanded for ringing to find out; small office; paid up front, taken to tiny room, unfinished, even the mezanine bed area didn't have access to it, so accommodation was the fold out sofa, which basically took the whole space, no airconditioning fitted (38 degrees C in July!), no toilet seat, lack of bathroom fittings, builders garbage and cigarette buts on tiny balcony. I said I couldn't stay there and wanted other accommodation....was told they didn't have any, but the RECEPTIONIST DID SAY THEY WOULD REFUND ME THE MONEY as I had to find another suitable hotel. IT IS NOW OCTOBER AND I HAVE NO REFUND.........and without legal proceedings probably won't.........so to others contemplating staying in what I thought would be a great place in a great spot......BE WARNED!!!!!!

It's close to the Coloseum. That's it!
It's the worst hotel I stayed at in Europe.
Toilet didn't even have a seat. Bed was a sofa bed. Breakfast was a E1 croissant.

This hotel is terrible. Only good point would be the location - only a few blocks away from the Colloseum. Negative points (and there are many)...1.) the buiding is covered in scaffolding and therefore our room did not have any natural light. 2.) The service is terrible. One man runs the show and was not even there when we came to check in.
3.) The rooms run off his 'office' so you can hear him talking very loudy speaking on his phone. If there is another guest to check in they ring the very LOUD bell! 4.) The room itself was newly refurbished - so much so that there was no toilet seat!!!! 5.) The 'Sky TV' advertised was not working. When we informed the owner he said he could not fix it! He offered a discount price for the room - but we had to pay upfront when we checked in - so he was not able to give us a refund.
Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!

When we get there, it looked like a trap: old and shabby building, unmarked. Doors were locked until we found a small ringbell. It does not look like a residence, but a pool of apartments in the region managed by one person sitting in a small office. We had to pay the full stay in advance, and it seemed like a trap even more.

The apartment – we stayed in the main building – was good, renovated and clean. The negative points were an open metal frame to hang clothes – no closet or chest of drawers – and a problem in the ventilation system in the bathroom that brought in a terrible cigarette smoke odor. Wi-Fi is available, but no phone. I asked for an extra pillow, and they did not have any.

Service is very poor: we asked the guy that checked us is about the internet, and he informed we could connect in the room. He simply did not tell us we needed a password, and then he left – duty hours seem to be, or should be, 7 to 5 – so we could only connect in the following evening. When we left the room at 9:30 in the morning he was not yet there. By the way, duty hours are just an indication: at 7:30AM someone willing to checkin started ringing the annoying bell, and stayed outside the building until more than 9AM, when the maid arrived. No one was at the reception at that time.

Breakfast is a voucher to have one cup of coffee and one croissant in a nearby bar, anything else is extra.

The good point is location: a few blocks from the Colosseum and Roman Forum, several bus lines and subway, and nice restaurants nearby.
