“Perfect and most friendly service!”

I highly recommend Snow White guesthouse/apts. The whole thing-service, cleanliness, sleeping,location...everything is just right and at a perfect and very reasonable price.
I discovered this guesthouse through some great reviews on TRIP ADVISOR and all reviews were absolutely correct.
On arrival the owner met us and gave us great advice on the 'ins and outs' of Rome - where to go, when, how etc.
It is a family run business and one could not ask for better treatment!

“Need space and a decent location? Try here!”

This apartment is one of a series run by the same wife/husband partners. They are really quite nice people and ready with plenty of advice about the area, getting around and what to see and do around Rome depending on your needs.

The room we stayed in was one of 2 in this building with a shared common room that held the computer (allowed to use, and with wifi that you cannot get in the bedroom), sink, dishes, eating area and sofa. They just moved in a load of furniture as we were leaving so things were a little cluttered at the end, but probably improves things overall.

The room we had could sleep 5, and we were 2 with a 14 and a 6 year old. The beds are half seperated by a dividing wall that allows a *little* privacy, and plenty of space. The A/C was pretty useless and provided just a warm breeze. The ones in the other apartments (we also stayed overnight at another one of their places as they moved all the new furniture into this one.... that was an adventure, but they compensated us). The beds were OK compared to the others we slept in 3 other places this vacation. The ensuite bathroom had a bath with shower in it that one kid fell down in, but did not damage herself (thankfully) and the water temperature was a bit demented never making it to 'comfortable' even though it mostly so hot in July you only want a lukewarm shower (it alternated between boiling and freezing). Best bring soap etc. as they only provide small packets of shampoo.

There was no breakfast, but a fridge in the room helped keep costs down. The also have a small kettle and tea and instant coffee (terrible tasting; this would really be improved with a french press in the common area!)

The location was quiet, within walking distance to the train station and had a close metro stop, and even though the oldest geleteria in Italy is just over the road, the noise levels were just about OK and dominated by the traffic.

“Big, clean and good location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 October 2008

15 mins from station walking (very close). In an old sandstone building that had been converted to modern apartments. We had a “2 bedroom”, which was large, clean and comfortable. They provided breakfast, free internet, and a common room, but there was only one other room available to be let. It was quiet, with adequate heating (although it turned off during the day, so our towels didn't dry). Next to vegetable markets.

“Excellent value!”

Just got back again from a wonderful trip to Rome! This time I decided to stay in a smaller B&B type property. I found Snow White Guesthouse while surfing through several sites. What a find! Great quality price ratio...and HUGE rooms.
We were travelling as a family (4 of us). We were greated with a hearty welcome by the owner and lead into a large lounge/computer area where we were given a map and some great advice on how to move around the city. (Even though I had been to Rome several times on business, it was nice to hear of some recent things going on)
The kids were allowed to use the internet all day which was great! The room itself was airconditioned and the size of two double rooms put together. There was even room for a breakfast table!
I would highly reccomend Snow White to anyone travelling with a family or perhaps in groups. You will not find a more accommodating spacious location where you can really feel at home...and not kill the wallet!
