For the money,Nicholas is just what is advertised. Clean rooms, good location and helpful owners. This is absolutely a no frills place. Clean, modern bathrooms, but overall very basic. Breakfast at nearby place that is hectic and has limited selections. Average, but worth checking out if you know there are no frills attached!

Francois and Melissa are the ultimate hosts in all respects! They help you feel comfortable as if you never left home! They provide the ultimate in care and service. My wife and I stayed two nights prior a transatlantic cruise journey. This bednbreakfast is within walking distance to every attraction other than the Vatican. It is just a nominal fare via taxi to get to the Vatican and the owners arrange everything you might desire to make your stay a comfortable and enjoyable one. Both speak perfect English(Melissa is from America) and arranged deluxe transportation from the airport and also to the cruiseport. Located 2 mins from the colloseum and ten mins walk from the trevi fountain.great location.Melissa and Francois are very friendly and helpful in any way they can from the minute you arrive.our room was very spacious with a large en suite and was spotless.shower was great.bed very comfortable.no noise from the street so no problem sleeping.you get vouchers for the cafe next door for breakfast - it was a typical european breakfast with oj , tea , coffee , some confectionary and croissants but you could have as much as you like so was ideal.free wi-fi in your room also and a phone card in reception for guests to use in de hotel complimentary.great irish pub around de corner called finnegans which melissa can direct you to.overall i would totally recommend staying at this fantastic accomodation.Thanks Melissa and Francois for a wonderful stay in The Eternal City.warning to anyone staying here - there is a cafe across de road called Gran Caffe Cavour - do not eat or drink here - crazy prices and food was terrible. 12 euros for two small bottles of coke.madness.
