“Just Perfect”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 May 2010

If you want to have an outstanding, authentic time in Rome, this is the place to stay! Rosanna and Augusto are a very lovely and hospitable couple who will do anything for your utter satisfaction! The B&B is very spacious, and the roof deck is just perfect.

I can just very much recommend this place you and I hope to find the time to stay for many more times in 'Aroma di Roma' myself.

“Roman holidays”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 November 2009

I have been in this B&B with my husband for 3 days for my birthday. Rosanna and Augusto did everything to make our holidays comfortable and pleasant.
The atmosphere of this mansarda is romantic and very "italiano". The interior is cosy and elegant.
The view from the terrace is nice (especially in the evening). And it was so pleasant to have breakfast in the open air surrounded by flowers.
The location is not in the center but we didn't have any problems - it is rather easy to reach it to / from the center. And because of such location this place is quiet and calm.
So here we got everything that we needed for our short Roman holidays. And we hope that we'll be able to return to this lovely place.

“Just Like Indian Hospitality!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 December 2008

Its been quite a while since I visited Rome (almost 6 months) but as I was going through Trip Advisor's ideas on making New Year plans, I chanced upon their feature on Rome. And it brought back memories of the absolutely awesome time I had there.

Rome has always been fascinating, more so when I visited, but Aroma di Roma made my trip all the more comfortable. Rosanna and Augusto reminded me of my parents. Loving, warm, and absolutely hospitable. Since we reached Rome from Florence late at night, they even came to pick us up at that late hour from the bus stand!

Aroma di Roma's attic with the terrace is absolutely adorable. The love with which Rosanna has furnished it is evident. Wooden panelling, a comfortable bed with overhead windows(perfect for morning sunshine to filter in), a neat but functional kitchennette, a dining table, and of course a very green terrace with comfortable reclining chairs for a morning cuppa and even a small shed where we ate a lovely romantic dinner.

I had chosen this B&B, inspite of it being outside the main city, because of its sheer beauty and affordable price. Of course for anyone who is unwilling to commute in Rome by public transport or would like the hustle bustle of the main tourist centers this is definitely not an option.

Rosanna and Augusto treated us like family helping us with their suggestions inspite of them not being comfortable with English. Never once did language prove a barrier in their hospitality. The bus stand is right in front of the B&B so its conveneint to move around the city. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone visiting Rome who'd like a taste of living with family in Rome.

We toured extensively across Italy in May but the fact that I came back to write a review after six months of visiting Rome just for Aroma di Roma speaks volumes about Rosanna and Augusto's hospitality!

“My Favorite B&B is in Rome!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 June 2008

My husband and I just came back from our honeymoon, we were in many different places, bahamas, Berbuda, Paris, UK, Amsterdam, Madrid, Barcelona, we were in nice hotels and B&B.
But when we went to Rome... wow! Rome was the best!
I truelly suggest to anyone, if you are looking for a B&B in Rome... go to Aroma di Roma. It's a lovely place!
Rosanna and Augusto, the owners, wow! such wonderful people. They make everything so special to make you feel comfortable and welcome. The place has a very nice decoration, it's a charming place with many colorful plants, and many details.
It's very comfortable, you get everything you need in one place. The bus station is very close and a laundry shop also, which is very helpful. There are markets and restaurants in the same area, so... If you want to enjoy vacations, or honemoon as us... there is no better place to stay than Aroma di Roma, in Rome! the eternal city! We like it so much that we're going to go back! Arrivederchi!
