We stayed here on our last night in Rome. We had been staying at the Westin Excelsior for my husband's conference and decided to spend less money for our last night. He found this bed & breakfast on this site through the price point and the location. This is a very well hidden gem and difficult to find since it is not well marked. However, once you find it - it is literally right on Pizza Navona! The hotel has only 6 rooms. The set up is a little strange because to check in you have to let them know when you are arriving. Someone meets you and lets you in - shows you to your room, takes your payment, shows you the code to the front door, etc..and then says that they are leaving until breakfast. This was fine and well secured, but not your traditional hotel one might be used to with someone at the front desk at all times.We did not stay for breakfast as we had to leave the hotel at 6am. The man that checked us in arranged for a private taxi for us.
Other than that - the cost was $150 euros and the location was great. We really enjoyed our last evening in Rome by being to walk to just about all the main sites for our last time in this magical city. Until we meet again Rome!

We recently stayed at Relais al Senato for twelve days in August and September of 2011. The location is just steps from Piazza Navona. You can actually awaken in the early mornings steps from your room and enjoy the Bernini statues inn the peacefullness of an empty Piazza Navona.

The location is also very safe as there is heightenened police presence due to the B&B's close proximity to the Senate building.

The B&B has five comfortably appointed rooms with an en suite bathroom. The bathrooms are beautiful and modern. The staff ensures that the beds are made daily and that the rooms are clean.

There is a kitchen for all to enjoy and a small refridgerator for all to share.

Rashika greeted us and prepared our breakfast daily. She was absolutely wonderfully helpful and very pleasant. She provided for all of our needs, made phone calls for us, arranged for restaurant reservations and found us the most reliable airport transportation at a very reasonable cost. We thought she was a wonderful host. Thank you Rashika.

This B&B has character and it is truly a find! It is close to all attractions.

This property is not a hotel but a number of rooms located within an old building a stones throw from Piazza Novana. Great character accommodation.. wonderful bathroom, and personal service for breakfast. Very hospitable manager on site most of the time although you have to arrange your arrival for your key for access to the building as there is no reception. We found it suited us perfectly and all the tourist attractions of Rome are right outside your door and very easy to visit. Piazza Novana is wonderful at night and the restaurants are many and varied and all very close by. A fun place to be.

This hotel is in a wonderful location, close to all the attractions. Beautifully decorated room with fantastic bathroom. Room and bathroom are very spacious. There is an elevator to use, since the hotel is on the 2nd floor of a building. The continental breakfast was sufficient to start your day. Fresh cappuccino, coffee and tea are also served. The only two negative things that I have to say is that towels are not changed for a stay of 3 days or less. The other thing is that when we arrived the first day, I asked the man in charge to help us map out the attractions and asked him a few questions about the city. Although he mapped out the attractions, he was very rude. He was not very helpful in helping us plan our stay. When I was eating breakfast every day, the man would throw away my garbage on my table, before I was done. I really didn't think that was necessary, since he could of waited until I was done eating. There is also construction going on that was loud in the morning, but I do not know when the construction will be finished. But with that said, I recommend this hotel very highly, It's a great hotel. Since I am a very picky person, I would not recommend this hotel unless I could recommend this hotel to other people. We thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
