First of all, we had a very nice stay at Domus Romana B&B, and I would definitly recommend it to other.
But there is a few things I would like to have known prior to my arrival ;o)
- There is no sign on the building with the name Domus Romana, it looks like a normal appartment building, but we couldn't enter the building without a key, and didn't know which floot the B&B was on.
- You have to call Mauro, whose number you will receive with you booking, and who speaks perfectly good english, and he will come within 5 min to let you in. Tip: Call him a little before arrival ;o)
- The B&B is in the basement, which I didn't know, and was a little nervous about, because i instantly thought of a cold og moist room. This could not be farther from he truth, the rooms are light and very cosy.
Because we didn't know these things, our start was quite bumpy, but had I know this prior to my arrival, I would not have one negative thing to say about Domus Romana. Mauro was extremely helpfull, and even dropped us of at a fantastisk restaurant near by, so we could get something to eat.
I will definitly stay there next time we come to Rome :oD
