We arrived at SuiteDreams after a very stressful travel day (flat tire on autostrata...need to change rental cars....arriving much later due to car issues). We were warmly greeted by the staff, and shown to our room. When we unpacked, we visited the front desk and asked for recommendations for dinner.

The gentleman at the desk, gave us a map, highlighted areas to walk through and gave us recommendations to eat. This man was right on with all of his dinner recommendations! We told him how impressed we were with the places he told us to eat. He explained that the hotel owner routinely visits restaurants and creates a list of places that he would want to eat. The owner is not affiliated with any restaurants and does not receive commissions. He only recommends places that he thoroughly enjoys. If you stay at this hotel, be sure to get the restaurant recommendations.

The first night out, my husband commented that he was nervous about where we were staying because there weren't many people around. Come to find out, we were within a block of the President's house in Italy. Needless to say, there were all sorts of polizia, local and national, always visible around the area we stayed. There was no reason whatsoever to feel unsafe. Once we got the lay of the land, we were much more confident in our choice.

The hotel is ideally located for walking around Rome. We were able to get to most places within a 20 minute walk. Many places were closer than this. The hotel staff also explained how to use the bus system, which was very easy once they helped introduce us to the stops, etc. We chose to walk most of the time to walk off all the food we were eating.

The breakfast was a continental buffet. It was adequate, nothing fancy. We had plenty to choose from each morning.

The hotel staff also arranged for our ride to the airport, and it was cheaper than taking a cab.
The bed was very comfortable, and the room was air conditioned. The rooms were all very chic in design as compared with traditional decor in other hotels. I loved the hotel, the price, and the location. The hotel was incredibly quiet, which is nice from the fast paced noisy city of Rome.

The staff, as I mentioned, was extremely helpful.

We stayed at Suite Dreams in September on honeymoon and had a great time. We had one of the junior suites which at 250 Euros a night wasn't cheap but we felt was just about value for money.
The suite itself was very nice, lovely king size bed, a big corner sofa and a 2 person jacuzzi. All fixtures and fittings were new and the window had an electronic shutter to block out any street noise and the morning light if you wanted a lie in.
The manger/owner Pier Francesco greeted us on our arrival and explained that he was there to help us with anything we needed. Having been to Rome previously we explained that we really wanted to go to some good restaurants and had struggled to fine anything above average last time.
Pier Francesco recommended and booked us a table for a restaurant every night we stayed there (5 in total) and all were either very good or brilliant. Even the restaurant below the hotel called Target which we booked 30 minutes after arrival was good.
The only thing this hotel could improve on is the selection of breakfast. Croissants and toast and great coffee was nice every day but a real repetition.
Overall the staff are super friendly and very helpful (only question is recommending Carrani Tours - who are completely rubbish and not worth using!). the hotels location is great too, great public transport links and in walking distance of most attractions barring the vatican.
Would definitely go back.

I spent a week end in Rome staying one night at suite dreams. We travelled by train so the location close to Termini was perfect. The area is not the best in Rome there is no breathtaking view but it is central and all attractions are at walking distance or by tube and busses.
THe hotel is very small (one floor of a building) very clean the staff is very nice the price is reasonable , The room was small but ok . The bathroom large. The breakfast in the morning was essential and self service. No real espresso (Nespresso was available) no freshly squeezed orange juice but by italian standard it was ok.
Two issues :
The shower water had a temperature variable with time going from hot to cold which was unpleasant.
No slippers where available
I would certainly recommand this hotel but please fix shower water temperature !

We stayed here on our last night in Rome. Once you know where it is located, it is not that hard to find, but tricky at first. The staff are incredibly helpful and nice. We were able to check in early which was wonderful since it was our last day in Rome. The staff have great restaurant recommendations and the rooms are a very nice size with a good, clean functioning bathroom. It is a little weird we had to have our keycard in a slot by the wall to have the lights on but I guess that's energy efficient and once we got the hang of it, we didn't mind. I would definitely recommend to someone who appreciates value but also a nice place to stay.
