“Ok hotel, needs a few changes to make it a really good hotel to stay”

Hotel 10/15 minutes walk away from train station. If arriving at night and decide to walk it is very hard to find. There is no hotel sign outside and the door is closed after 4pm, look for the Number 58 above the door arch (hard to see at night) and ring the appropriate apartment bell at the side, it's next to a flower shop on the corner of Via Piave street.

Hotel is modern in design but depending on room can be noisey. Staff are friendly and will help with information. Location good as you just turn right out of the hotel and follow long rd (Septembre xx) right at the bottom turn right at big white building with police standing outside takes you to most of the landmarks.

We had an issue with the younger girl who mans the desk, with regards to being told the night before check out that the card machine had gone down and we had to pay for stay by cash. One a problem when you have to draw out 600 euros at once for stay and two get charged for drawing money out as well. There is no back up if this happens, so Be Warned, was not considerate and said it was not her problem we should just draw the money out.

“Looks like an Italian dead”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 September 2011

The rooms are new, but do not even have telephone.
Despite having LCD TV, only italian open channels are available.
The building is very old and the elevator is never working.
The staff is attentive, but we expected more.

“Charming, Clean, and Uncomfortable Bed”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 August 2011

Hotel is conveniently located. Not a far walk to the main tourist attractions. It's a tiny bit hard to find as some of the other reviewers have said, but all you have to do is walk up to the door with the 58 next to it, ring the bell next to "7 Kings" and someone answers and buzzes the door open.

Front desk staff speak english fairly well and are happy to give directions and suggestions for local restaurants. The room is very clean, new, and modern. Has wi-fi and air-conditioning. Free coffee and biscuits in the morning, but no breakfast.

Only complaint is the bed that's about as soft as a brick.

“Beautiful, delightful hotel, nice and easy location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 July 2011

I visited this hotel in august 2010, but I still remember, how lovely it was to enter to the small and cosy lobby. The receptionista was helpful and served us with just great attitude. The airline lost my luggage and I was in quite some troubles with my poor italian skills, so the hotel staff took care of the whole situation for me.

The room was nice and clean with spotless bathroom. The hotel did not serve actual breakfast, but the staff made coffee in the morning by request. That felt really ok, Rome is, after all, full of lovely cafés and nice restaurants. In fact, if one ever visits this hotel, I strongly recommend trying a small family restaurant behind the hotel (Via Flavia), called Restaurant 101. We saw the restaurant from our window and ended up having the best dinners of the whole trip.
