It's Chinese owned B&B - small, pretty clean apartment with private bathroom in our room. Very convenient location next to Termini station if you would like to get early flight using train from Termini to Fiumicino airport. But I'm not sure about safety at night (heard yelling and running outside around 11 PM - 12 AM). Staff (from Beijing) was friendly with good English, but they asked about cash payment and I had to run over the Rome to find cash around 8 PM. I did it :)

My wife and myself stayed at the Capellini for 2 night during the beatification of John Paul II. Even though the street and the entrance to the building where the B&B is situated do indeed look rather dirty, the B&B itself is well kept and clean. The front dest clerk, Pasquale, is very friendly and helpful. Thanks to the hints he gave us we saved lots of time by selecting the proper subway station (Vittorio Emanuele, not Termini) for traveling round the city and the proper entrance to the Termini station to get the train service to Fiumicino Airport. The double room with a bathroom was exceptionally clean, and the breakfast sufficient for us. We could also make the tea or coffee any time we liked to.
As was pointed out in another review, the area is not the most elegant, but we did not feel endangered or threatened, even when coming back to the Cappellini around midnight. Also the price of 70 Euro per night seems to be fair. We would definitely choose this place to stay at again and recommend it to anybody who wants good service for a reasonable price.

The B&B is on a horrible street in a horrible area and has a horrible entry. That said, the hosts were friendly and we did have a double room with bathroom for only £60; amazing for a last minute booking in Rome. The basic amenities were clean (shower tray and basin) but the bathroom tiles and general feeling of the place was dirty. Couldn't get the tv to work and didn't see the hosts around in the evening to ask. Breakfast was very average - better to go out somewhere. No coffee facilities. Location is pretty good, close to Termini and easy walking to most of the sights. Would I stay again? No. Would I stay if I was backpacking on a budget and was in my 20s? Probably.
