We have stayed for nights every thing was perfect except shuttle to the airport.
They informed that they could organise a limousine from hotel to the airport and costs 55 ?. That was allright and we agreed. At the time of departure the mercedes has came but not a limousine, this was unexpectable and really suprising!!
I wonder why we had not informed about the change of car or why they promised what is unreal??! We paid limousine price but got on a mercedes.

We stayed for 4 nights in this charming B&B last week. I had read positive reviews on TripAdvisor. The staff were very pleasant, and eager to help with any problems. The room was reasonably generous in size, with a very large king-sized bed. Multiple SKY channels not so useful if you don't speak Italian. Free Wifi, with reasonable reception. I had read some complaints about the distance to the Colliseum, but it was a very short walk away, and not a steep hill at all. There are metro stops about 10 minutes walk in 2 different directions. We used the A line at San Giovannis the most. Old Roman baths are also less than 10 mins away, although not shown on the tourist map. The breakfast was quite ample, and the staff would make expresso or capuccinos. I would definitely stay here again if I revisit Rome.

The staff were wonderful, very helpful and wanting to please. The beds as well were very nice, big and comfortable. The downside is the walls are very thin and you can hear what's going on in the reception area/breakfast area. Also it is on the outskirts of all main attractions if you are walking. It is very convenient for buses though.

My wife and I spent four days at 1 Via dei Valeri and can not stop talking about the comfort we enjoyed when coming back to our home away from home each evening. The B&B is tastefully decorated, recently renovated, and kept spotlessly clean by Hussain. We had the hypo alrgenic room, and it was perfect for our needs. Located away from the noise of central Rome, and only a short bus hop to all of what we go to Rome for. Great little restaurant within walking distance "Hostaria I Buono Amici". We easily walked to the Colloseum, nd bused ourselves around on our 3 day Roma pass. Nils, Zarka and Hussain made our visit a memorable one......Great advice, great breakfast (breads, Italian cold cuts, fruit and bottomless espresso coffee. We will be back!
