This Place is just beautiful. Nicely located in Trastevere next to the Antica Pesa (overrated). It is an old convent and you could still Sense this atmosphere when you walk the premises. Ancient wooden doors, sculptures, the friendly remaining nuns who greet you friendly when they walk in the Garden or on their Way to the church which is next to the reception. You can feel it when you enjoy the rich breakfast buffet in this hall with 5 metres high ceilings and dominated by marvellous paintings.

Service is friendly and helpful. The rooms are not the modern Standard but the bed is comfortable, a very nice shower and flat screen TV.

Please install WIFI in your rooms !

dont let trip advisor fool you into this hotel, just because of the rating i travel alot around the world and stayed in many hotels,usually 4 0r 5 star, and this hotel is the worst place ive stayed in. sure it looks beautiful,sure its a great location but its a noisy hotel,opposite from relaxing,the hallway floor from the outside of your hotel room is tiled which you can hear every foot step since they were too cheap to put a small separation from the entrance of your room. The maids would make loud noises in the morning cleaning so you have no choice but to wake up even if your tired. there is no concierge,worst service ever and they charge you an accomodation fee but for what???? who does that? worst hotel ever and you charge me 18 euros at the end,what a joke. the hotel was clean though so thats pretty much the only thing that was positive.Next time i go to rome,i will pay the extra money to stay at the st regis,This hotel is a fake and not relaxing at all.ps i forgot to mention the noise from the street is super annoying,especially when they like to speed.

My husband and I stay in this Hotel during our stay in Rome at the end of September early October. Great place and even better location. Walking distance to great shops and restorante. A short walk to all the main sites in Rome. Wonderfull staff and clean rooms with a good selection of spreads for breakfast. Would stay there any day again!!!!! Everything you read on tripadvisor is true!!!

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights, on arrival we were ignored for a while as the front desk is definitely not that of a 4 star, no concierge, no welcome smile etc.
We were shocked when we saw the room which was underground, poky with a view of a bare courtyard. While checking out nobody asked us if we enjoyed our stay. No free internet in room. On the last night there was a loud party which made sleeping difficult. The staff at the buffet breakfast was disinterested except for one. I wonder how this hotel has four star ratings because at four star rates one does have basic expectations, except for the location which is beautiful and the charm the hotel has of being a former monastery there is absolutely no warmth or any comforts to speak of. Guess the rating on TA have made them stop putting in any further efforts.
