“Good comfortable room, Good location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 December 2011

This is a nice little place, near the metro and the Vatican. The room was small, but we didn't need more. The shower had hot water, a must for us. There was a little problem with the wifi, but when the router was reset it was fine. Paola was very nice, and gave us useful suggestions. The supplied packaged breakfast food was good to start the day, and we used the stove to heat water for hot chocolate. The only negatives are the shower drain is small so you have to be careful not to turn the water on too strong (not a big deal, really), and the flush button on the toilet was a bit tricky to get to work.

“Great stay for 4 pax.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 September 2011

It is very convenient place to stay at while travelling in Rome. Near to Metro, Vatican city, lot of restaurant near by, lot of shopping and safe to stay...If we go back will stay again at here...

Room Tip: Since the lift is so small, it is good to stay at 1st floor if you are backpack.

“Five-star luxury at three-star prices”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 June 2009

Found ourselves overloaded by the sheer number of Roman hotels on various websites, so decided to change tack and select this B&B on Via Scipioni, especially on seeing the €80 nightly price-tag. Without a word of a lie, I can honestly say that it is the nicest place I've ever stayed in. The mother and daughter who run the B&B were extremely helpful, and on arrival, we were given a large basket full of toast, honey , biscuits and enough food to keep us going for the first three days of our stay, after which we were given a second basket! The apartment itself was extremely plush, very spacious and faultlessly tidy. It was within a short walk of the Ottaviano metro station, and within the Vatican, close to St. Peter's. Some might quibble that the Vatican is too far from the city centre, but I found this B&B perfect and at €80 for two sharing, it's within everyone's pocket.
