Thank you Enrica and Massimo for your kind hospitality. Relais 19 is an oasis from the chaos of Rome. It is a wonderful town house, comfortably decorated with a generous and caring staff. The included breakfast is delicious and the nearby restaurants are a surprising delight. I highly recommend a stay at Relais, if you're looking for the perfect base for excursions in and around Rome or simply a place to unwind before a flight out of Italy.

Smart villa surrounded by other smart villas but with a disappointing local centre a short walk away although there are eating facilities there. Pool in garden and small gym facilities.We were overnighting before early flight the next day but suspect this would be a perfect haven if you were visiting Rome for business or pleasure though bus/train routes would need exploring. We don't know how easy it would be to return by public transport having had an evening meal in Rome centre.; you prbably wouldn't want to drive!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful hotel. Our only regret is that we didn't have more time there (including time for what I imagine would have been a delicious breakfast). Everything exceeded our expectations. The room, the grounds, and the public areas were all in the most beautiful taste. We were a little skeptical when the owner suggested a restaurant behind a car wash for dinner, but we loved it -- a genuine neighborhood osteria. The inn is very convenient for getting to the airport as well as Ostia Antica and other places outside of central Rome.

We chose the Relais due to it's proximity to Rome and Ostia without having to drive in the city. We were pleasantly surprised with the beautifully appointed room. The service was wonderful, we truly felt as though we were welcomed into someone's home, without feeling intruded upon. Enrica and Massimo obviously put thier hearts into making their guests feel comfortable and welcome. They went out of their way to help us make some changes to the rest of our itinerary, giving us some local advice that we would not have easily found elsewhere.

Though we were late in the season for the pool, the grounds are beautiful. The breakfast was extensive and delicious, and the nearby Trattoria that was recommended for dinner was a gem, and within walking distance.
