“Very friendly host”

I have booked this B&B due to all positive comments on the Trip advisor. I was not disappointed. Massimo was an excellent host. Furthermore, he came to find me before my Vatican's tour because the cleaner had found a locker he thought belonged to me and brought it at my tour's meeting point. I was really touched. I would recommend this B&B to everybody who would like to be close the Vatican and enjoy Italian hospitality.

“Friendly, helpful, clean and perfectly located!”

Even if Capricci Romani is a b & b you can find services like a 5 star hotel. The room had all comfort (a / c, wi / fi free, private bathroom inside), and we found also some very useful extras (maps, Rome guide books, books, magazines, free internet point for guest without a pc). At the end, but not less important, the breakfast is served, officially, from 08:00 to 10:00, but Max and Simone are proud to serve it after that time (not found in 5star hotel!). Beds comfortable, rooms clean and spacious. A great discovery in Rome. Highly recommended

Very, very nice B&B with excelent service. The room was very comfortable and quiet. The staff were friendly and attentive. I also loved the free internet point at disposal for the guests. The location of the Capricci Romani B&B is central to St. Peter's and all the major locations in Rome.

“Massimo is a real gem!”

My wife and I stayed 5 nights (Nov.2-7) at Capricci Romani B&B. As this was our first B&B experience we were a bit aprehensive. This all went away after we met Massimo. Massimo is referred to in a lot of previous reviews and we can understand why. He is a very gracious host who is totally focused on the comfort and happiness of his guests. As owners of a small motel in the states we tend to look at other properties with a critical eye. This B&B surpassed all of our expectations.

After a long overnight flight we were driven directly to the property in a large mini van arranged by Massimo. The B&B is on the fourth floor of a five floor building that is about 150 years old. The elevator was a welcome site as we had four large pieces of luggage. Massimo introduced himself to us and had a hearty breakfast waiting. He spent some time with us highlighting a map with all of the "must sees" and then we went to bed for several hours. Our room was immaculate as was the bathroom. The shower was hot and powerful. Our king bed was very comfortable and the A/C cooled the room rapidly. The TV had many satellite stations although very few in english but we did not need or miss the TV. The recommendations for food and sites by Massimo were spot on.

The location was perfect and you can walk very easily from the B&B to all of the major tourist sites in Rome especially Castle Saint Angelo and the Vatican.

Hopefully more of Massimo's guests will write reviews as this B&B should be number 1 in Rome. Great job!

“Great location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 December 2011

My wife and I stayed in this B&B in November 2011 for 3 days.Everything was great about the B&B. The location was incredible being just a few minutes walk from The Vatican. We also walked from the B&B to the Spanish steps and Trevi Fountain, and down to the Colloseum and it wasn't a problem for us. Room: Clean, comfortable, quiet.
I would certainly go there again and can recommend it to everybody!

Room Tip: If you contact Massimo directly he will offer you a better rate than on line rates. Book early!
