The room was very spacious and nicely furnished. We opted to stay in one of the rooms with a shared bathroom to save a few bucks which is always a little risky, but the bathroom was huge and very clean. I didn't meet Marlene because she was actually on vacation, but there was a very nice Danish girl taking care of us in Marlene's absence who answered all of our questions, provided recommendations and served us breakfast.

The location is very convenient to the metro (it's close to 2 different stops) and is also within walking distance of the forum and Colosseum. They have free internet access too which is always a big plus when you're on the road:)

We traveled with our 1 year old daughter in Italy and stayed at the Marlu B&B for three nights. From the first moment we knew we made a right choice. Marlene the owner is wonderful. She is welcoming, pleasent person and was happy to guide us and provided great tips.
The rooms are very nice and the location is great (close to the metro). We will come back again.

Marlene is a wonderfully informative and hospitable host. We stayed here twice and we liked the place even more. By the second time we were starting to feel at home in the neighbourhood. Lift access to the apartment and large and roomy spaces in the bedrooms made us feel very comfortable - there is plenty of room for suitcases and clothes, Marlene was very meticulous about giving us information which we would need to make the most of our time on Rome. Her tips for restaurants and places to see were good value. Our son and his partner (in their 20's) also valued her tips on the night life of Rome! Thanks Marlene - come and see us in NZ anytime!!

Arrived very late, but booking with Rome Cabs worked very well, and Marlena was there to let us in. Large comfortable room with nice bathroom, good breakfast. Easy walking distance to train station to get to Vatican, Colleseum and other sites walkable. Not many restaraunts locally open on sunday - otherwise OK.
