“I would most definitely stay here again.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 October 2011

My boyfriend and I just spent 4 nights here and I couldn't be happier with our choice. Even before we arrived, Marco had arranged for a car to pick us up from the airport and was quick to answer any questions I had via email. Marco was at the property to greet us upon arrival. He had a map ready for us that included helpful information, various telephone numbers and even restaurant recommendations that were located near the B&B. He also gave us a mobile phone to use during our stay. We stayed in the Dante room which has a double bed and private bath. The room was very spacious and clean, and it was cleaned daily and towels were also replaced daily. Continental breakfast consisted of croissants, cereal, toast, fresh fruit, coffee and juice. The hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk to Piazza del Popolo and from there you can easily walk to the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. On our first day we actually walked so far we ended up at the Colosseum so it's possible to walk there but I don't recommend it unless you are in terrific shape (our feet and legs were sore the next day). The subway system is very easy to use and there is a station right at the Piazza del Popolo. Thank you, Suites Piazza del Popolo, for making our first trip to Rome a wonderful stay!

“I'll be back!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 September 2011 via mobile

This is a quaint little property within easy reach of the piazza del popolo. For those not wanting a hotel environment, this is the perfect answer. This property will accommodate two couples or our room the Goldini room has 2 single beds and a queen bed which allowed us plenty of space to spread our wings. Marco, the owner and Richard the live in help were fantastic. Marco provides a phone in which to contact him should you need any help whilst in Rome. I really loved staying here and would be more than pleased to recommend this property to anyone wanting something a little more homely than a hotel. If you want a five * hotel don't stay here, if you want a charming alternative with lovely people then this is for you.

“Fantastic Start to 3 Week Stay in Italy”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 June 2011

We spent 4 nights here with our 10 and 13 year old boys at the start of our vacation and it was great! Marco arranged to have a car pick us up at the airport which was wonderful. He provided tips, restaurant suggestions and gave us his cell phone in case we needed to reach him at any time. The rooms were clean and lovely (his wife is a talented artist) and breakfast was sufficient. It was nice to be in a quieter, more residential area north of the center away from the major tourist attractions but close to Villa Borghese. My boys loved the funky old elevator. The tram and metro were easily accessible. I would go back in a heartbeat - great value!

“You'll never want to leave!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 June 2011

What an amazing time we had in Rome and Suites Piazza del Popolo: this is the place to be! We stayed here with our 2 and 4 years old and….and my son now wants to move over there! :-)

The B&B is a hidden gem in Rome, beautifully decorated by the gracious co-owner and Roman artist Stefania. Its beauty is stunning, yet welcoming. It then takes life thanks to the hearth and warmth of the host, Marco, who will welcome you, and give you as little or as much advice and help as you wish. He started answering my questions even before arrival! He helped us with what could be considered the “usual”: you name it -transfers to and from airport (super smooth and very professionally handled), helped with restaurant recommendations, but in our case really went to the extra length since we have severe food allergies (my son) in the family, and he helped us find all the best, (and safe) solution, from breakfast on.

Location is perfect: 5 minutes tram ride (= with no traffic, which in Rome is priceless!!), or 10-15 minutes of nice, enjoyable walking distance from Piazza del Popolo. Even with the little ones, we walked everywhere.

The rooms are spotless clean, spacious, comfortable, – and did I mention beautiful?- the bathrooms are also very clean and nice. Kuddos for the linen and bedding as well! Breakfast in the morning was beautifully set, and plentiful. It truly was a wonderful stay and surely, when back in Rome… we'll only be at Suites Piazza del Popolo!

“Don't look any further - this is your place in Rome!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 June 2011

Best experience ever! I will make it easy for fellow readers: I know how tough it is to pick a place to stay when going on vacation, but with the Suites Piazza del Popolo, it suddenly becomes a no brainer: location, comfort, cleanliness, staff, value... you will find it all. Walking distance to Piazza del Popollo and transportation to the rest of the city, you will also enjoy a kids playground and small parc right across the street if you go with kids. Rooms are great (all A/C equipped, nice bathrooms), and the whole appartment very comfortable and beautifully decorated by one of the owners. We were there with our 2 kids (2 and 4 years old), and if you also go with other friends or extended family (like we did), you can each ask for your room (up to 3) and basically have the place for you! This is the most incredible value you will find!
