I stayed at this hotel just before Christmas with my husband, hoping for a nice 2 days in Rome before heading to see his family. The first night, we had a suite with a tub, and I was so looking forward to a relaxing bath. However, what we found was that a group of ants had taken over the tub and everything around it! So, at midnight, after 3 calls and 2 trips to the front desk, they finally changed our room. In this room, no tub, and very small (not even room for 2 suitcases) for the same price. This room had a problem with the toilet. The water never stopped running in it after flushing...we were afraid it would flood the room. Again, a call and trip to the front desk where we were told that no one was available to fix it until "later" (this was 6 am). We left for the day and when we returned, we were told it was fixed, but after 2 times, the problem returned. We were never so happy to leave a hotel! When we asked if we could please be compensated somehow for our problems with the room; we were told that we would still have to pay the full price for the stay...INCREDIBLE!! NOT a FOUR STAR, do not stay in this hotel. The service is poor, irresponsible and indifferent, even for Italians!

We recently spent four nights at this lovely hotel whilst on a short break to celebrate my husband's birthday. It is in an excellent location- near to both the train station, and within walking distance of some of the best sites Rome has to offer. The decor is modern, with some brilliant artwork on display, and spotlessly clean throughout. Our room was spacious, with welcome air-conditioning ( temperatures during the day were in the thirties), and a glorious wet-room- much appreciated after many hours out seeing the sights. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly- when we asked for recommendations for somewhere to eat, they directed us to a delightful, local family restaurant which we liked so much that we went back the following night. The Continental breakfast each morning was fresh and tasty, with more than enough variety to choose from. Next to the breakfast room there is a pretty little terraced area where we used to take a glass of wine in the evening, and just chill out listening to the sounds of the city around us, and watching the planes fly in to the airport. Very romantic!! The local area felt extremely safe, and there is a good selection of shops to browse around within a five minute walk. We really enjoyed our stay, and would recommend this hotel to all our family and friends- we would definitely stay there again if we should ever return to Rome.

Location is good. Easy access to Tuscolana train station, to travel to airport, or Metro Re di Roma, to travel to main train station.
Staff very friendly and helpful.

But...the room is a little small. It's decent and clean but I personally wouldn't rate the room for 4 star. It would be something between 3 and 4.

Breakfast choices were poor.

I guess this place is okay but I would try search some more next time I'm back to Rome.

The hotel was a bit far from the central areas in Rome. It was a 30 minute Speed walk from the hotel to the Collesium. But wonderful area with plenty of shops and places to eat in the area. Plus there are a few subway stops right around the corner and you can be to many places within 5 to 10 minutes.

I am a pretty light sleeper and did well during my stay here. The beds were ok but the comforters were very fluffy. They were doing a lot of renavating during mine and my friends stay so there was a lot of construction equipment around and people working. Not all areas were open. But it served our purpose of a nice, safe place to rest at the end of a long day.

I would recommend this hotel to friends.
