“Helpful staff and great location”

We were staying at the another property of sixbeds, not the one in front of the metro, but was just 1 block away. The owner Cristina was very helpful to tell us about Rome. The room was simple with kitchen and living room. But the shower area was a bit small to not avoid the water to be spilled out of the shower area.
P.S there is a good hotel besides the breakfast piccolo bar named Trattoria Monti. Good food there.

“Good price, Good service, Good location, Good...”

This a well priced B&B in Rome!!!

At Sixbeds we got a nice spacious room. Including a TV, closet, safe and a table. You won't need more than that.

The bathroom and kitchen is shared. You will share this with 2 other rooms (a maximum of 4 other people). The bathroom is simple but again you won't need more than that. The kitchen enables you to keep food cool and heat up food.

The location of Sixbeds is fantastic. A metro station (Vittorio Emanuelle) right in front of the B&B and nearby Tremini Station. Also go to Fassi (delicious ice cream shop!!!) it is very close to Sixbeds. The surrounding area will provide everything you need for your holiday (supermarket, restaurants, bars, a park, market, etc).

The breakfast consist out of a cornetto and coffee/thee at a local bar. This is a typical italian breakfast. Don't expect more with other B&B's.

The owners of Sixbeds (Max and Cristina) are helpful, easy going and friendly people. They know a lot of Rome. They literally give the B&B to you and are easy to reach in case of a question.

At the check out of our stay at Sixbeds, we could leave are bags until the end of the day to pick it up. So we could have a nice last day in Rome without carrying around our bags.

I really do not regret of staying at Sixbeds. At booking it seemed to be too good to be true. But my conclusion: it is truly good!!

“Sixbeds has another property”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 June 2011

Around the corner from original Sixbeds is another Sixbeds property - an apartment with 3 bedrooms each with own private bathroom. There's a communal kitchen and living area. All facilities including tea coffee and free wifi. Very clean and comfortable, rooms cleaned daily. Close to Metro, and breakfast vouchers for local cafe nearby included. Max and Cristina very welcoming and helpful. It was all we needed and will happily return on next visit to Roma.

“Decent room, average location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 June 2011

If you're deciding to stay here, I'd say it depends on what you're looking for. The room is okay, but if you're in Rome, you shouldn't be hanging out in your room much, so it's good enough.
It's not going to feel like you're staying in a charming part of Rome, though. The surrounding streets aren't that great. If that doesn't matter to you, this place is right next to subway and bus stops so you can get where you want to go with no problem.
Overall, good stay, but nothing special.
