“In the heart of Rome, comfortable and affordable”

We rented an apartment and were picked up from the airport by a driver that the owner had arranged. It was very convenient and no more cost than a taxi.
the pantheon apartment is a nice apartment in a great location with more than adequate space for 5 adults (we had an extra twin bed added). The owner was very friendly and accomodating and could be reached easily if there had been a problem. I would highly recommend it. We found/booked it with help from his website.

“Great location, good accommodation, definitely stay again.”

Stayed in this apartment with adult family and small grandchild for four nights, rooms were very clean and spacious, great kitchen and facilities. Best thing was the location, just outside the PAntheon with a multitude of shops and cafes surrounding us. Easy walking to all attractions in Rome, would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend this for all.

“The big brown door”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 October 2009

Our 17 year old was singularly unimpressed with the nondescript brown wooden door opening directly onto the street which was the entrance to the apartments. By the time he'd got to our 4th floor rooms, however, experienced the space, the cool and eyed the satellite TV and hi-fi, his view had changed completely. This was an ideal first stop on our Italian safari, so close to the Pantheon and central to all we wanted to see. We loved waking to the smell of roasting coffee wafting from the Cafe d'Oro directly opposite and soon found that popping down in the lift for a quick morning coffee and brioche was the only way to start the day. And we loved Antonio's family-run restaurant 25 metres up the street for dinner at night. A supermarket was also nearby.

We had a large main bedroom with king-sized bed, aircon and lots of hanging and cupboard space. The teenagers bedroom was small with two single beds, fan and adjoining room with toilet and wash basin. There was a separate, fully-equipped kitchen with a little balcony for drying clothes, big bathroom with shower and bath, entrance-dining room and separate lounge-TV-family room. Roomy, clean, cool and airy with windows with shutters in each room - all that we could want. Maurizio, the manager, met us on arrival; explained everything, arranged some visits for us, gave us his mobile phone number in case we needed anything or further information and organised the taxi for us on our last day. A charming, helpful and approachable man with excellent English.

“A haven from central Rome”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 May 2009

We arrived in Rome during a heatwave but the moment we stepped in the door we knew we had found somewhere to relax and recover. The apartment is spacious with more than enough room in the living room to leave the sofabed out all day (rather than ask a teenage boy to fold his bed away). The kitchen is a little tired but contains all the necessary equipment. The second bedroom just fits two single beds but does have its own washroom. Maurizio the owner was extremely helpful with lots of advice. We loved stepping out of the calm of the apartment block straight into a busy street with restaurants. The location couldn't be better, just 10m from the Pantheon. The best coffee shop in Rome (according to all the guide books) is directly opposite the front door. Despite the heat we walked everywhere apart from a train ride out to the ancient Roman port of Ostia Antica. Overall a fantastic apartment in a great location. Note - the photographs on website are not entirely how the apartment is now eg one of the sofas has been replaced by a cabinet but it is still representative of the space.

“Great location-family had a wonderful time”

Had heard varying reviews of Rome but it was a favourite with our family due in large part to where we stayed. Maurixio ( the owner? Manager) was very helpful and made us feel at home straight away. The apartment was within walking distance to everything and for 4 days we didnt need to catch any form of transport to get to where we wanted to go. The living rooms are very spacious and the bedrooms quiet - the 2nd bed room is small but did not worry 18 and 22 year old siblings who also didnt mind sampling some opera from the cd collection.
