Been there around the middle of June, all we can say is that we're absolutely happy with La Vigna! The hotel is a beautifully decorated building, the rooms are very large and nice (we had the standard "art" room), there's free wi-fi, a nice spa and the hotel staff provides massages too.
We were really amazed by the high quality of breakfast, by the kindness of the staff and, overall, by the marvellous garden! We liked the terrace so much that we were tempted to spend the day (and the night) there!

I made a reservation by email at Albergo La Vigna on the island of Procida for a two night stay in August, 2009 for my husband, my two adult sons and myself. I received a reply stating that a room for four was available and that I should wire 260 euros to the hotel to hold the reservation for the first night -- no credit card payment was permitted. I wired the funds under my name; and I never received a response. About 10 days before the trip I wrote to confirm the reservation and was told that although they had received a wire, they did not know it was under my name and they gave away the room. As we were going in August almost every other hotel was full but we did find another hotel on the island. The manager of Albergo La Vigna suggested we rearrange our itinerary and come a few days later. This was not possible. He then said I could pick up the deposit when we were on Procida. I emailed him about when we were coming again and said that I would pick up the deposit. However, itt took two trips to the hotel and several calls before I got the deposit back and even then the manager tried to give me less than the amount I had wired!

I was there by myself in May and I really had a great time.

Everything was perfect. It started since the beginning when I made reservation. I contacted the hotel directly and Enzo answered immediately and my booking was made in less than an hour.

Then, Enzo kindly sent me all information on how to get there with the ferries timetable...

I was staying in room 11 with direct access to the terrace and overlooking the beautiful vineyard and the see.

The room was spacious with not overwhelming decoration or furniture. Simple but beautiful especially with the tiles. The purple orchid was an elegant touch.

Mara brought me breakfast on the terrace the first day and it was so wonderful!

The hotel itself is lovely and his nestled at top of a hill. At the edge of the garden the view is just outstanding. They managed to put seats, bench, almost everywhere so you can take a book or i-pod and just enjoy the sun, the view, the roses and the vineyard.

It is well located at a walking distance from the port.

Mara and Enzo always find a solution to your problem and always have nice suggestions for restaurants and excursions. They were very helpful.

I will definitely return to Albergo La Vigna.

My husband and I stayed in this small, lovely hotel for five nights to celebrate our 25th anniversary. We booked the Malvasia suite, which looks out over the well-tended vineyard with views of the sea. It was comfortable and spacious. The young owners work very hard to please their guests and always have a kind word and a smile. Let Enzo book scooters, which are great fun to get round the island on, although you can also walk everywhere from the hotel. Marta makes the breakfast cappuccinos and, besides being a trained physiotherapist, she provides all the beauty treatments including pedicures, facials, and competent massages. Procida is beautiful and you'll find lots of restaurants serving fresh fish and pasta dishes. There is nothing to do here but relax and walk around the harbours or read a book in the garden of La Vigna. There's a small, gorgeous beach near the graveyard that I also recommend for a picnic and maybe a swim. Skip Ischia, which looks like a suburb of Naples to me.
