“Comfortable stay in a beautiful part of Naples”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 October 2011

This accommodation is alittle strange in that it is not really a proper hotel. There is no reception desk, although the building has a door man until about 8pm at night. We asked him alot of our tourist questions and he was helpful. We paid 80 euro per night via Easy To Book.com.

Having said that, the room with ensuite was clean, tidy, comfortable and air-conditioned. Room was very quiet to sleep in at night which was nice. Plebiscito Due's location near Piazza Plebiscito is a good draw card as this is a very beautiful area and we felt safe as the Police station was located just around the corner.

The building is tricky to locate - if you are standing in the centre of the Piazza, Plebiscito is located behind the big timber doors just to the right Caffe Rosati.

“Great Location and Style”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 October 2007

Really enjoyed our stay and would love to stay again. Great location (just note and take with you other writers details of door to right of cafe, etc and have Pascal's phone number.) Rooms were lovely and Pascal a great host. Lots of shopping and things to see and do and ideally situated for catching ferry to Amalfi coast. J Ranum, NZ

“An unrivaled location and imposing building!”

The Hotel is in Piazza Trieste e Trento approachable via a huge wooden door next door to the piazza cafe (This cafe does sfogliatelle - these local delicacies are lovely breakfast pastries which are best enjoyed hot with a cappuccino!). The side of the door has a bell push and intercom marked with the hotel name. The hotel is on the second floor of a huge imposing building, approached by a small elevator set into the side of the building.
We were told by Pasquale that the hotel was full on our arrival and we had been upgraded (for the same price) to one of their apartments. No hardship there! The apartments (as is the rest of the hotel) are very secure. The one bedroom apartment was immacuately painted and decorated, air conditioned and comfortable.
The hotel location is second to none. Walking distance to the port for boats to Capri and Sorrento and the frequent R2 bus takes you straight to the train station. In addition you are 1 minute away from shopping on via Toledo and the funicular that leads you up to Vomero for locals' restaurants.
Naples is a brash, vibrant, edgy, and chaotic city with incomprehensible driving laws, beautiful buildings and the best pizzas in Italy.
Both the city and the hotel are well worth a visit for a couple of days.

“A great little place if you can find it!”

Great location right in the heart of the city with excellent access to the shopping and the port to Capri and Sorrento. Unfortuantely it is quite difficult to find seeing as it has no sign outside and we walked around for about 20 minutes asking locals who did not know where it was. When I called the number the person on the other end could not speak English. However, once we got there we were very impressed with teh room it was spotlessly clean and was extremely nice. Well worth the money just get detailed directions on how to find it first!

“Excellent location, fair price, air conditioned”

We stayed two days in Plebiscito Due, payed 90€/d. It is located at the Palazza Trieste Trento near the Palazzo Reale, a beautiful place. Our host, Pasquale, was very friendly and guided us the way to a parking nearby which you would not find on your own. The rooms are newly renovated. The bed had good mattress (two of them, not french single mattress). We forgot our hairdryer, there is none in the room, bring your own. Breakfast not included, but there are at least three good café nearby. We also saw the "residence", a bigger room on the 2nd floor with living room, small kitchen, bedroom - a good alternative to the basic room if you stay longer (100€/d).
A pleasant stay, good value for money, recommended.
