“Nice, inexpensive, near airport”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 December 2010

I got stranded in Naples and needed a hotel near the airport. I found Millennium Gold on hotels.com, where I got a cheaper deal than direct from the hotel. It was about a half mile walk from the airport. The room was simple, clean, and comfortable. I couldn't figure out how to use the TV. The staff was very nice, spoke good English, lent me an adapter to charge my laptop, and a broadband key for thr internet because their wirless was down. They had a good continental breakfast in the morning with strong coffee. Overall, nothing fancy, but a good deal for the price.

Great hotel if you are traveling to Naples Italy . The Manager and staff always were very on top of my stay and were very eager to please . The happy hour has great food and the breakfast is good also . They make a great !! cappuccino . I would recommend this hotel for US travelers to the Base nearby also .
If you know Naples , it has a trash problem from time to time , but the grounds at the hotel are kept clean , so you have not issue with that ..
PLUS !!!! great water pressure for showers YES !!!!

“Totally ruined the last night of our Honeymoon”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 October 2010

We booked this hotel because it was near the airport and we had booked a hire car for the last day. It didn't look outstanding on the web but was a good price.

When we turned up we were told that there was a problem with the rooms and that we had to take a taxi to another hotel. This hotel (not rated on Trip Advisor) was a lower star rating, in an horrendous area where we didn't feel safe to go out and charged us 38 euros for an average plate of spaghetti and a beer.

So the Millenium let us down on the last night of our honeymoon, we booked through Expedia and are in the process of trying to regain our money from them.

This hotel could well be okay, but it seems you take the risk of being dumped in its' lesser, not so near neighbour.

“My stay at the Millennium Gold Hotel was more than I expected”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 August 2010

Service was excellent. English was spoken.

The room was spot less. The location was in a neighborhood of Naples. Other than the cat calls from the locals on my walk from the airport to the hotel, things were okay.

Employees were more than willing to provide assistance with places to eat and places to go.

Wifi is available at 5 Euro per day. No working channels on the television but didn't spend that much time in the room anyway.
