Very convenient location and helpful staff. Rooms ok but rather dusty.

We stayed here for two nights in May 2010. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We asked for a quit room in the back, but they put us in the front of the hotel which faces the plaza and was under major construction. They assured us that the double glazed windows and AC were very good. The AC did not work and only when we insisted did they move us to a room in the back with excellent AC.. We have no idea why hey did not honor our original written request, so insist on a room in the back. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Location is good…only a five minute walk from the train station. At 50 Euros per night this was the best rate we found any where in Italy. If you are going to stay in Naples this is a “find”. However, Naples did not have much to offer and Rick Steve comments about “Theft Alert” are very accurate. We went for the Archaeological Museum which again Rick Steve accurately described. Many of the rooms we wanted to see were closed for no apparent reason. It was very frustrating experience. We would recommend opting for more time in Sorrento or Amalfi.

We stayed here for the last night of our 5 nights in Naples as the original hotel could not take us for the final night. It was Ok, nothing special and provided a clean bed close to the station. The breakfast was reasonable and acceptable. On the good side, the room was clean, the facilities worked and it was an Ok size. On the bad side, it smelled a little of cigarette smoke and the window would not close easily. We paid $65 for a night and were quite pleased with the cost and the room.

Definetely this is a very good hotel for the price that you pay.

I was travelling for business and I needed to stay near the train station and Hotel Potenza is a 2 minutes far from it.

The concierge is helpful. The room are large, very nice, and sunny, the furniture is very new and everything was in a good state and very clean.
Altough we are near to a very chaotic area as the train station, I did not hear too many noises in the morning.

Materass, enlightment, structure of the room are perfect. Bathrooms too very good sized and very nice.

Breakfast was good, i took a cappuccino than you have croissant with cream, yogurt, milk and cereals, marmelade and bread. To be perfect this hotel should probably intoduce something more at breakfast anyway the quality was very good.

Definetely this is a good hotel, as i have tryed also Hotel Cavour and i found well, compared to other hotel in which i have been to Naples, these are among the best.
