We took the bus from Naples airport and arrived at the Piazza Municple. From there we took a ten minute walk to arrive at the Bovio Suite. It sits right in the Piazza Bovio and entry to this beautiful building is via number 22 (there is no sign), press the intercom for 1038.
The room was large and cool, a welcome change to the 37 degrees outside. We took a triple room which was perfect for our 16 year old daughter as our sleeping areas were quite separate due to the L shape of the room. The bathroom was of substantial size with six new fluffy towels provided every single day.
Breakfast was served in a delightful dining room and consisted of Napolese pastries, toast, fruit juice, yoghurt and wonderful Italian coffee. Our embarrassing lack of Italian and our host's attempt at English resulted in some humerous exchanges and at one point we resorted to using the Babelfish website to communicate. I have to say the staff are extremely kind and helpful.
Some reviews complained about traffic noise from the busy via Umberto. Hey, this is Italy and it's all part of the experience. We had no trouble sleeping, believe me.
I would certainly recommend the Bovio suite and we intend to return to this accommodation in this extraordinarily beautiful city; we love it!
If you are planning a visit you must check out the artcard which will save you a huge amount, and I mean huge amount, of euros on sea crossings, rail and bus travel, museum entry and the special sightseeing bus and cruise. Just google artcard napoli.
Finally, have a great trip.
