“A self-acclaimed 4 star hotel...”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 October 2011

Rooms are very small. Internet signal is weak. Breakfast was just OK for the price. Room are noisy as you can hear the next door neighbour through the bathroom. There's a high school nearby so you end up with 300 kids on the street behind your romm at 0730hrs. The AC has 2 settings Too Cold or toToo Hot.

This city has a major problem with the garbage collection.

“4 star??? Not up to standard of other 4 star hotels I have stayed at.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 September 2011 via mobile

Hotel is average. The wifi is terrible in the rooms, you will need to go down into lobby area to maybe get decent signal( not always) the breakfast is not very good. There is no fresh bread for toast in the morning, coffee machine makes terrible coffee and same goes for juice machine. The local area is the dirtiest place I have ever been. The only good thing is the hotel staff are pleasant and helpful enough

“Not a 4 stared Hotel”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 November 2010

The ventilation in the room was poor. We had to open the windows. Unfortunately, I was bitten by the mosquitos. This hotel can only be 3 stared hotel, definitely not a 4 stared one.

“Fantastic!!!!!!!!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 April 2009

Very friendly staff, i was given a very warm welcome and i was taken to see my room and i was very impressed with the size of the room which had air conditioner (very important in naples)and a balcony also a very modern bathroom with fantastic shower. In the evening we had something to eat at the restaurant and the food was really good and the price was good too. i recommended!

“Excellent price, excellent service, back of beyond”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 September 2005

If you have a car, this is the hotel for you; if not, be prepared to trek 30 mins in every direction to get to the nearest Metro / Restaurant / Bank etc. These guys were tripping over themselves to be helpful - the rooms are excellently furnished, the breakfast buffet good by any standards, the free WiFi was fine - we enjoyed 4 days here, and the immediate area is pretty good by Naples standards (i.e. crap beyond belief, watch out for the dog mess on the pavement etc).

Getting into and out of Naples, Pompeii, Cuma or anywhere involves either a 20 min taxi ride (€10, or €20 if you take the "Hotel Car") or a 30 min trek to the Metro and then a 30 min train ride from the midle of nowhere to the middle of nowhere. Don't take the latter option, even though ti only costs €1.

The Pozzuoli / Bagnoli area is a dive with few decent restaurants and some fairly dingy streets; nothing dangerous, but nothing nice either. Travel 20 mins in any direction and the world opens up, and we particularly enjoyed Capri. Pompeii is great, but a pig to get to from the Autostrade.

If we went back to Naples, we'd stay here again. This is an oasis in a human cesspit.
