“Clean and basic in a dirty part of Naples”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 October 2011

You get what you pay for and we used it solely for one night due to a late arriving flight and early morning departure for the train in the morning. For a 1 night stop-over for those on a budget is the only way I can reccomend staying here. The hotel was clean but very basic, two single beds pushed together. I can't knock the hotel for it's price but if you want to spend more than 1 night in Naples ensure you stay near the port where all the decent shops and restaurants are - apart from the station there is nothing around here except tons of litter on the street including a smattering of dead pigeons !

“A very good budget hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 October 2011

We arrived in Naples after dark and took the shortest route from the station to this hotel - not a good idea, especially at night, as it was partly through a park area where we didn't feel particularly safe. There is another entrance on a main road (Corso Garibaldi) and we used that for the rest of our four-day stay.

The hotel was a pleasant surprise. We had a very nice clean room with an ensuite, air conditioning, which we didn't need to use, television and WiFi that worked well in the room. Giuseppe, the manager, was friendly and helpful. We had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel, one of the best value places we found in our travels in Italy.

“Convenient and clean”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 October 2011

We have stayed in many budget hotels in the last 7 months of travelling. The difference between an ok budget hotel and a terrific budget hotel usually comes down to the housekeeping. The housekeeping here is good - very, very good. Spotlessly clean basic rooms, great location, handy for train station. Naples is a bit gritty but we never felt unsafe. Free internet and very welcoming staff. Cafe directly opposite is good for breakfast.

“convient and cheap”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 September 2011

located very close to the main train station (which is also a stop on the line to Pompeii) this hotel was cheap and cheerful. Basic but clean and friendly with English speaking receptionist. Alas no breakfast was available during our stay although it apparently usually is.

“Convenient Hotel To The Main Train Stations, Clean Hotel In Dirty Naples”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 September 2011

Naples not our favorite place on earth. Very dirty, rundown, and filled with trash on the streets. This all reflected the hotel stay as well. Not situated in the nicest of neighborhoods, being from New York it still made us worry about our safety. We did not hangout or stay out late because of the area, we did not feel safe to be out late at night.

Giuseppe our hotel clerk was the friendliest man and gave us a quick, detailed, and informative check in. (spoke perfect english) He gave us all the information we needed and asked for in regards to sights, transportation, etc. The Hotel had a average lobby, hallways and bathrooms very clean (we had a shared bath). Our room was below to average, with aged bedding, loose and shaky/noisy ceiling fan (no a/c), water stained ceiling and paint. they had a nice little area to sit and computer, with very slow free internet.

Overall for the Price and Location next to the main train station, I would recommend this place for a short stay if your running around to Pompeii and Capri and spending very little time in the Hotel itself.
