We booked a 3 single bedroom with a private bath. It was fine for the rate of 30 euros each. The free wifi did not work in our room. We were on floor six and the router may have been on floor seven. We did not stay for the free breakfast. The bathrrom was very moldy and could use a good bleaching. The bedspreads (which serve as your only covering other than a sheet are not washed after each visitor. The location was within walking distance to the port for our trip to Capri. My roommate left her phone in the room when we left for the ferry. I called the front desk and asked him to collect and hold the phone for our return that evening. The door to our room was 5 feet from the front desk check in. I heard him shout out to the maid who was cleaning our room to retrieve the phone for our return. Upon our return, he told us they did not find the phone. We looked everywhere in the room, under bed dressers and the phone was no where to be found. We are 100% sure the phone was in the room when we stepped out. We called Verizon to report the phone stolen and the rep at Verizon told us the phone was used through out the day so we knew the phone was stolen. The only people who could have taken the phone was the front desk person (who was very nice to us) or the cleaning person.

Be very careful who you trust at this hostel, they are not as they seem :(

Firstly. I do not recommend staying in naples. We came here just to go to pompeii for a day trip, But when even the locals are gripping their handbags tightly, you know something is wrong. A lady in our hotel had her earrings ripped out in early evening in the middle of a busy street. Rubbish piles litter the street every day and stink.
That being said, if you have to go, stay here. It's a good price with the hotel and hostel on different levels, so there's no noise at all. The rooms are a little dated, but clean. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Free breakfast was good.
Wifi didn't work in our rooms, but worked upstairs in the hostel common room, which is open for use by hotel clients.

The hostel is very close to the port, quite close to the train station,and closetomany ofNaples sights.
It is located on a quiet street, on the 6 and 7 floors of a nice residential building. Very reasonable prices, nice and very helpful staff (all information on getting around is available).
Free lockers, free sheets, but bring yourown towel. Also, only one shower on the 7th floor, so you gotta be fast.

We stayed in the Bellacapri in mid-November 2010. We had a room overlooking the port. Always lots of activity plus a view of the Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius. We were within walking distance of most downtown sites. It is a long walk to the train station but buses run almost to the door of the hotel. The front desk staff were VERY helpful. Rate was 50 euros per night with a continental breakfast. Wireless internet was available in the room. Free access to computers was available by the breakfast room.
Front desk staff booked a sister hotel in Atrani/Amalfi for the same rate for our onward journey. The hotel provides a 15% discount at Castel Nuova Trattoria around the corner.
This restaurant was a great find. It is on the 6th floor of an office building. During the day you need a 5c coin for the elevator. The hotel is happy to provide the coins. Elevator is free at night & on the weekend. Very secure.
