“second stay here”

I was here a few years ago and decided to come back, I find that the Hotel is in a fine location at the top of a hill, it's a fair walk down to the main shopping and eating out areas, but nearby is a friendly pizza take away, the Cumana rail system is at the bottom of the hill and a few stops into the city centre. I speak fluent Italian so no problem for me comunicating with the locals, I understand that the location may be a bit of a culture shock for the less adventurous. The Hotel itself is very nice with friendly staff and clean rooms, a nice large pool is available. If you are British and expecting a home from home, your best bet is to go to Benidorm for your fish and chips and full English breakfast, if you like a bit of culture and want to feel like you're in another country go to Italy especially Naples.

Room Tip: ask in Italian

“Hotel from Hell - AVOID”

Where do i start... HOTEL is in FILTHY Naples, the dirtiest, most discusting city on this earth. The hotel is in a bad location, and has night working girls just down the hill about 100m from the hotel. Supermarket was 2 blocks away, if you were brave enough to walk the rubbish filled streets.
Resturant staff were extremely bad, didnt smile or complete our requests. We asked for butter and plates a number of times, after waiting about 15 mins, we eventually obtained these ourselves. Most of the "hot" food for our bus tour was delivered COLD and tasteless.
Our room, 404, had a balcony with a sliding door that didnt lock, however the locked "security shutter" could be easily forced open from the inside. The bedspread was ripped and sheets were stained, we request for new sheets and bed spread to be obtained, and the request was met. The room had blown light globes, which were replaced. The room had a combined Shower and bath tub, however the shower curtain was about 20cm short of the bath tub, allowing water to pour on the floor, with the shower curtain rod, held to the roof with Electrical cable ties...Bath tub was painted with GLOSS HOUSE PAINT, and had many many paint runs, done the side of the tub.
Airconditioner and powerpoints mysteriously turned themselves off during the night or early morning.
Upside, was the bed was comfortable and had FREE WIFI.
The hotel was undergoing renovations, with Jackhammers operating at 11.00pm. Grounds and pool areas were neglected and in bad need of some love. Building lifts were tiny and could only fit 4 average sized people or 2 people and 2 luggage bags.
DONT STAY IN NAPLES. Drive to Sorrento, the additional cost would be worth the piece of mind.

Room Tip: Drive to Sorrento, instead of staying here.........

“Will not be coming back!”

we stayed here as a part of the comos tour and i would give this hotel a 2 star rating NOT 4! Maybe at one point in time this hotel was a 4 star but not anymore! the hotel is pretty out dated. first we were given a room on the 5th floor. the view was great but, the room has a horrible smell to it and it was very outdated and old. part of the wall paper was peeled off and we noticed there was black mold all underneath! we changed rooms and were given a room on the 3rd floor and it was much nicer. the rooms on the lower floors don't have a view at all but they have been partially renovated. So i would definitely recommend the lower floors. we had dinner there a few night and it was worst food we've had in italy! However, the breakfast was great with lots to choose from. The hotel is probably in one of the worst areas in Naples. we didn't even feel comfortable walking down the street especially at night time! Your better off staying elsewhere.

“Never will go back to San Germano”

The hotel misrepresents amenities, the staff is nice on the surface but will tell you NO in a heartbeat. This is also the flithiest city outside of any African nation and way too third world to ever return. If you are thinking of a vacation here, go somewhere else in northern Italy. Everyone is on the take and looking to rip you off. You will be afraid to leave the hotel, especially if you have a wife and children, Avoid Naples and avoid this hotel at all costs!

“Lovely pool!”

This hotel is very easy to find off the motorway. The area around the hotel is ok with a couple of restaurants and a decent supermarket. The hotel rooms were ok but make sure you ask for one away from the road as it is extremely noisy at night - we hardly slept because of the noise. The pool is very nice, and you can usually swim outside of opening hours. The breakfast was adequate, dinner was a bit of a disappointment - many things on the menu weren't available and the cake that was served for breakfast turned up as dessert but you had to pay 6 euros for it this time!!!
